Project Details:

The West Delta Deep Marine Phase IV (WDDM IV) comprises eight additional wells to the existing Scarab/Saffron and Simian developments. Five of these wells will be in the Scarab/Saffron area, two wells will develop the Serpent field and one well will develop the Sinbad field. The Scarab/Saffron and Serpent wells will tie-in to the Scarab/Saffron manifolds and the Sinbad well will tie-in to the southern Simian manifold. The West Delta Deep Marine Phase IV is an infill of the existing Scarab, Saffron and Simian deepwater gas and condensate subsea production facilities. Existing offshore pipelines convey the product from the subsea system to an onshore gas plant. The onshore gas plant is located at Idku, near Alexandria.The West Delta Deep Marine Concession is located off the Nile Delta in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. The Scarab/Saffron area is located in the western half of the concession and is approximately one hundred kilometers’ (100) offshore Idku, near Alexandria. The Simian field is located east of Scarab/Saffron and is one hundred and fourteen (114) kilometres offshore of Idku. The water depth in the fields ranges from 400 m to a maximum of approximately 1000 meters.

Monitor welder performance and welding activities to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with the approved welding procedure.
Goods Inward Inspection, Material Verification, Fit up, weld visual, Dimensional Control, NDT (RT, UT, MPI, LPT), Blasting and Painting (DFT & Holiday) of structural materials like Jacket legs, various Elevation Panels, Conductors, Piles, Cross Brazing, Mud-mat, Riser clamps, Riser protector, Boat landing, Barge bumper, Shock cell, Pile gripper, Pile guide, Conductors, Riser protector, Rigging Platform, Anode installation. Verification of fabrication of Cellar Deck, Main Deck, Switchgear Room, Spreader Frame, Stairs, Chequered Plates &Grating installation, Equipments and Piping spools erection.
supervision and training of the work force in all aspects of abrasive blasting, ultra high water jetting and protective coatings, Coating Inspection of all projects, Constant liaison with clients and clients inspectors, material & equipment purchasing, final sign off, etc.
To maintain and operate cathodic protection systems in on shore and off shore areas.To maintain quality of process stream from contamination due to corrosion products.
Performance Blasting and Coatings:
Supervisor and Inspection Projects: Abrasive blasting and coating of interior / exterior of rail cars and oil storage tanks. Interior liners consisted of: thin film, hand lay, and chop fiberglass. Supervised turnarounds and maintenance projects for Chevron,

Carry out the Field Joint Coating (FJC) Inspection for the submarine pipelines (Off shore Projects) Visual Inspection of the surface preparation, witnessing the calibration of the holiday detector, holiday checking of the field joint coating (Raychem Heat Shrink Sleeve- HTLP-60, CANUSA, SERVIWRAP & SERVI SHIELD etc.)
Duties included liaison with Engineers and architects on specifications and product information, negotiating with applicators on each project to ensure the use of our product on the project. Trouble shooting any application or product complaint. Inspecting coated steel and concrete for specified thickness, holidays, misses runs and sags etc. Checking steel temperature, air temperature, humidity, and dew point when required.
Inspection of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Cu- Ni, DSS, CS NACE pipes and Pipe fittings, Valves, Flanges, Fire Fighting Equipments and witnessing mandatory & Supplementary Tests as per client approved QAP and Codes/Standards.
Hands on experience in Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Inter- Granular Corrosion, Hydrogen Induced Corrosion, and Stress Induced Corrosion Testing of various materials. Conducted Procedure Qualification and Welder Qualification for various Offshore Projects.
