Job Responsibilities

· Being a Shift In Charge-Production my day-to-day responsibilities include
· Leading a team of Engineers and Technicians, coordinating the overall Operation and Maintenance of the Process Plant.
· Layouting of equipment ,piping key plans, piping general arrangement,isometric drawings, piping material selection and specifications, material take off(mto),technical procurement schedule(tps),cost estimation etc.
· Supervise the Operation and Control of the Process through DCS.
· Responsible for smooth & safe operation of plant and ensuring strict compliance of safety procedure and standard operating procedures.
· Monitoring daily plant performances and optimizing the same by achieving Specific consumption targets.
· Coordinating with maintenance for trouble free operation.
· Ensuring safety measures during normal operation and emergency.
· Coordinating in modification and plant performance improvement jobs.
· Training Panel Engineers and Technicians in Efficient & Systematic Operation.
· Reviewing standard operating procedures (SOP) and helped in preparation of Condensed Operation Manual with Start-Up & Shut-Down procedures.
· Involving in process HAZOP study & PSSR audits.
· Monitor Start-up and Shutdown activities, ensuring adherence to the procedures.

· Knowledge in Operation and maintenance of Hydrogen compressor, Nitrogen compressor and Instrument Air compressor.
· Operation and maintenance of centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, multistage centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
· Testing of pressure vessel and high pressure bullets, storage tanks etc.
· Boiler operation of
o 953*3 waste heat boilers
o 145 and 180 Sq meter horizontal multi tubular boiler
o Project / commissioning / trouble shooting / technical services
· Act as the Chief Emergency Coordinator; lead the crew in stopping the emergency and preventing it from escalating.
· Assist the Head of Department in Reports generation, ISO Documentation.
· Material Management and Man Power planning for smooth functioning of the plant.
· Good Knowledge of Computerized system of Data collection, Analysis and Reporting.
NATURE OF JOB
Ø Trouble shooting the critical equipment faults to avoid unnecessary plant tripping
Ø Man power distribution allotment
Ø Providing operational supports to the chemical delivery systems, toxic cylinders/ gases system.
Ø Essential chemical operation are properly and safely carried out in accordance with company safety and statutory requirement
Ø Monitoring and maintaining various flow temperature, pressure, level, pH, density in DCS control panel and taking proper action to control trouble shooting in the plant
Ø Startup and regular change over of various capacity blowers, pumps, compressors etc
Ø Resolve the process problem , perform the process and upgrade
Ø Familiar with ISO 9001/14001 clause/conditions and management review meetings and all ISO related activities
Ø Energy conservation study and implementation.
Ø Working as process engineer involve in conceptual study
