Worked as an Electrician on Oil Rigs conducting planned and corrective/ break down maintenance on Heavy Industrial equipment to rigid time frames. This was on a rotational 28 day 12 hour a day basis.
Royal Australian Navy 1981 to Aug 07.
Started as an Electrician and progressed through the ranks to become an officer holding many positions in workshops responsible for ship maintenance and repair as well as training positions and time spent in the explosives and safety area of Defence.

I designed and implemented a web based Quality Assurance Permit and Waiver System whilst in Defence for which I received a commendation.
I qualified to perform the duties of the Weapons Electrical Engineer onboard an ANZAC frigate in 2007.
I completed mandatory Oil Rig Training whilst with Transocean in a short time frame.
I received the Defence Force Service Medal and clasp.
