The scope of the project comprises the installation of pipelines, civil infrastructural works, and structural steel erection works necessary to facilitate movement of feedstock’s, utilities and product between Saudi Kayan, King Fahd Industrial ports and existing industries.
Port Area 700-K-021B-IK
Contract Amount : SAR 85, 303,815.02
The scope of the project comprises the installation of pipelines, civil infrastructural works, and structural steel works erection from Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Complex approximately 27 km. to Port Storage Area necessary to pump the product to the Port Berths for ship transfer, installation of electrical and instrumentation works, mechanical equipments (static and rotating), insulation and cladding works.

The scope of the project comprises the installation of pipelines (which includes fabrication and installation of pipe works, tie-in works(hot tapping), supply and application of all painting and surface protection works, insulation and cladding works, installation of electrical heat tracing system, cathodic protection, OSPAS System, installation of metering skids), civil infrastructural works and structural erection works.

Position : Planning / Scheduling Engineer
Reports to : Project Control Supervisor
Job Summary : Review project scheduling requirements and prepares, updates and maintain Critical- Path- Network Construction Schedules and Resource Schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities
Issues complete set of all schedules and other documentation to Controls Personnel, with appropriate instructions and procedures as to how these are to be used and maintained.
Sets –up systems and ensure full compliance with contract requirements for preparation, verification, submission, client approval and subsequent invoicing of Progress Billing.
Develops overall Master Construction Schedule from Contract and Estimate data provided
Develops schedules for Construction Equipment, Manpower (by craft) and Material Deliveries consistent with Project Master Construction Schedule.
Updates Master Construction Schedule with actual progress data as project progresses.
Analyses the potential schedule effect of Contract Variation and Change Orders.
Develops short-term schedules (usually daily shutdown or 3 month look-ahead) base on approved Master Construction Schedule and actual resources available (manpower, material, drawings, equipment).
Maintain records on Progress, Manpower, Productivity, Equipment Utilization, Contract Variations and Change Orders, and others as required.
Prepares Progress Reports for company’s Project and Executive Management and the client in accordance with company’s procedures and contract requirements. (Such reports will include, but may not be limited to, the production of Actual/Schedule Progress Curves, Manpower Histogram and Equipment Schedule).
Investigate areas where project progress deviation from the approved Master Construction Schedule and makes recommendation for recovery where possible.
Prepares, or participates in the preparation of, Client Contract Billings (Progress Payments) in accordance with Contract Terms and Conditions.
Attends meetings with other members of the Project Team and/or the Client, as required, in order to report on project status, discuss problem areas and contribute toward the resolution of such problems.

Job Summary : To assist Planning and Cost Engineer in tracking progress, monitoring accomplishments and generate reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generates, updates & maintains quantity-databases
Tracks, verifies and documents work quantity accomplishments
Computes activity / discipline progress per approved Construction Schedule / Cost Weight
Prepares overall progress computations as an aid to the Planning
Mark-up completed works onto AFC drawings and maintains an organized filing system
Collates information from other departments
Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.
Assists in the preparation of a Daily work schedule & Look-ahead for Operations group
Attend progress meeting or any other meetings as required
As built Electrical and Instrument conduit, cable trays routing, etc…
Routinely conduct daily site survey and prepare daily production report to be submitted to Planning Supervisor.
Does Materials Take Off (MTO) to any discipline (Piping, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and E&I) .
Analyze actual progress, cost, resources and revenue against plan / budget.
Update daily Manpower /Manhours and Equipments and report it to the client
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly progress report.
Perform periodic reconciliation of IFC quantities with Project Engineering Department so that the total revenue and costing can be calculated with progressive accuracy.
Jointly review and prepare balance of work schedules and its corresponding manpower requirements with Construction management.
Analyze actual progress and expenditure against plan / budget and highlight any deviations.
Recommend alternative plans or solutions to planning, progress & cost control problems as maybe required.
Update installed quantities into respective discipline tracking database to support progress reporting and measurement for invoicing.
Maintaining and archiving controls record for the duration of the project.
