MAIN ACTIVITY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance,operation,repairs ,troubleshooting and overhauling for all shipboard electrical installations including:
AC/DC electric motors and synchronous generators of different types,shaft-generators,converters 380/440V (el.motor/generator system),electrical power generation(such as ABB,Stremberg,Konsberg & etc.),distribution and lighting systems,high pressure hydraulic system(power packs Framo) for cargo plant,hydraulic and pneumatic system for the control of cargo and ballast valve operation,Nitrogen and Inert gas station,electrical and electronic equipment for LPG cooling plant including cargo compressors and pumps(Sulzer,Maycom R22),cargo heating systems,steam and thermo-oil boilers and different kinds of separators/purifiers,evaporators/water treatment equipment, generators and refrigeration/HVAC equipment,antifouling and Capac systems and others.
- Faults finding,malfunction repair and diagnosing problems associated with ship’s computerized IACMS (Integrated Automated Control and Management Systems) including power management,generation and protection, propulsion control/management, fluid and cargo control/management): i.e. Kongsberg Norcontrol Data Chief 2000 and C20; Marine Engineering Process 2000;Unmanned control systems.
- Maintenance,adjustment and diagnosing problems of Programmable logic controllers (PLC) converters and
electronic governors for auxiliary and main engines. - Maintenance ,testing,troubleshooting of emergency shutdown system (ESD’s),machinery electronic monitoring ,automatic,remote control and alarm systems,pneumatic and radar tank level measurement systems, Tanks Level Datic System, Ballast Valves Remote Control System.
- Able to repair and adjust of a various electromechanical and electronic sensors(such as pressure,temperature,level,flow transmitters) and inductive type of sensors ; - experience of installation and commissioning of a various electric and electronic equipment(such as, for example, Automatic Identification System (AIS),Dead Man alarm system & etc.);
- Maintenance and control of integrated bridge navigation systems. Autopilots/track systems, gyros, radars,data voyage recorders.Ship’s communication, VHF radio, fire alarm and fire door control systems(such as ServoMaster ,Autronica & etc.) and other safety and back up systems.
- Ability professionally to work with various measuring and testing devices such as digital multimeters, insulation testers, electronic test equipment,multifunction process calibrators (Fluke,SIKA) and other.
- Knowledge inventory and planning routine maintenance (STAR IPS,AMOS ,RAST) systems.
- Work experience of DD(Dry Dock)- 6 times(Dalian,China/Klaypeda,Lithuania/Tallin,Estonia/ Riga,Latvia/Rauma,Finland/REB of fleet,St.Petersburg)
