1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear Sir/ Madame,
I learned about you from internet and I am writing in hopes that you are currently looking for well-educated Deck Officers.
I have 15 months experience as a 3rd Officer on VLCC/ ULCC tankers, 10 months as 2nd Officer on Pax Carriers and over 3 years as Chief Officer on Product Tankers. Last 8 years I spent in reputable British companies successfully familiarising with their standards and International Safety Management patterns.
In June 1998 I graduated from the Navigation Department at Merchant Marine Academy in Gdynia granted grade “very good” for my final knowledge. Since September 2007 I am Master Mariner Certificate holder with Oil DCE. Also I passed all courses required by IMO and additionally I am GMDSS and ARPA operator. My enclosed CV and Application Form provides full details of my experience and qualifications.
Now, I am keen on continuing my career in your Company. As a merchant seaman I have reached the highest rank and I am looking for some new experience and challenges on offshore units. My other concern is also shorter lengths of tours as my family expanded (3 growing kids). From my previous references I can prove to be dedicated and experienced worker with professional attitude and skills to work as a good part of the team. I am ready for contracts at any place in the world.
My computer literacy is very good and I can fluently speak and write in English. Should you be interested to find more about me, I am available to attend an interview at any time. For further information please contact me on above telephone number or on e-mail address.
