DESCRIPTION

 Gas Turbines:
 GE Frame 6B machine which is having Mark V control system 2* 80 MW each with Combined cycle operation.
 Hrsg with supplementary (140 t/hr each & pr. 100 kg/cm)
 Boiler (oil and gas fired)*2 (160 t/hr each & pr.100 kg/cm2)
 Waste water treatment plant
 Spent caustic unit
 Demin water plant
 Partial oxidation unit (using a tar , steam and 100% oxygen and producing syng. Gas)
 Tank farm area ( Tar tank, naphtha tank)
 Cooling tower

Prepared working permit , safety auditing, confined space work permit

Training : special training done for fire fighting ,confined space entry, work permit
Safety related training.


# At present I am involved in project work like line tine in job and looking and preparation to install gas tubring frame 9E.


Total experience with Combined Cycle power plant is: 13 years (Including 3 year training)
Work Experience: Since Feb 1998 GE Nuovo Pignone Ahmedabad
C/o CCPP Arvind Mills Naroda.
At present I am working and having past experience with the following equipment such as startup, shutdown, Isolation, desolation etc.

 Gas Turbines:
 GE Frame 6B machine which is having Mark V control system *2 with Combined cycle operation.
 Heat recovery steam generator Thermax make with working pressure 42kg / Cm2.
 Steam turbine with the generation capacity up to 110 MW
 110 MW thermal power station boilers where I worked as trainee for 3 years.
 GE Nuovo Pignone makes gas turbine PGT 10 which is being used for combined cycle and cogeneration operation.
 Thermax make RO water system which is being used for Combined cycle plant
 Gas turbine equipped with air inlet cooling system and steam injection system.
 I am having experience with working with DCS such as Tata Honeywell, Fuji, SCADA,TDC-2000 etc

PAST EXPERIENCE : Worked as “Power Plant Control Room Operator” at
Combine Cycle Power Plant of Ahmedabad Electricity Company

DESCRIPTION : Was involved in Project right from zero date participated in
Various activities at different levels.
 Actively involved in erection and commissioning and participated in various activities at different levels. As senior Operator (D C S)
 Involved in erection and commissioning of GAS TURBINE, Cooling Water System, Air Compressors, Liquid Fuel handling System, etc.
 Participated extensively in Mechanical and pre-commissioning activities of Process steam piping and HRSG Alkali Boil out, Safety valve floating Etc.
 Actively involved in pre-commissioning activities of STEAM TURBINE like condenser vacuum test, Ejectors, Condenser Dumping, and STG Rolling Etc.
 Also have involved in GT online & off line Water/Chemical Activity.
 Start up , shutdown of Gas turbine, HRSG,& Steam Turbine
 Operation and monitoring parameters of its related auxiliaries.
 Trend Analysis; prepare shutdown and normal stop reports, daily report etc. Operation and monitoring of parameters of auxiliaries. Fuel handling and Transfer system , cooling water system , Electrical system, Mark-V control system for, DCS ABB mode system for and its related auxiliaries.

SPECIAL TRAINING: Special training received while unloading Naphtha system with
GE Norms like EHS (Environment Health & System) & LOTO (Lock out
& Tag Out)

INVOLVEMENT : Being a team member of operation & Maintenance team

Educational Qualification

 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering passed from Technical Educational Board. Gujrat, India.
 First class Boiler Competency passed from Government of Gujarat in April 2000.
 NCTVT examination passed from The Ahmedabad Electricity Co ltd, followed by 3 years training for the Power plant & rotary equipment operation. Equipment such as Gas turbine, Gas compressors, Diesel Engines, Steam turbine, RO water plant, DM water plant, desalination, Air compressors, etc.
