WORK EXPERIENCE:
Over 26 years of experience in drilling fluids engineering in Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Pakistan and Middle East. Worked on various positions from junior cadre up to the level of Chief Drilling Fluids Engineer (Planning & Lab).
Drilled HPHT, deep, medium, shallow, directional and extended reach wells (including off-shore well) in Pakistan and U.A.E.


BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
MUD SYSTEMS RUN:
•Non-Dispersed Fresh Water Mud.
•Low Solids Mud/ High Weighted Mud.
•Dispersed (Lignosulfonate/Lignite) Mud.
•Salt Water Mud.
•Saturated Salt Water Mud.
•KCL-Polymer Mud.
•Non-Damaging KCL-Polymer Mud.
•PHPA-Polymer Mud.
•Oil-Based Mud.
•Various types of Completion Fluids and Brines.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Designing and optimization of Mud Parameters and Hydraulics program for drilling wells in different areas.
•Making frequent field visits for trouble shooting to overcome any critical situation in the event of severe hole problems, like high pressure water/oil/gas inflows, tight hole conditions/pipe sticking and loss of circulation, etc.
•Planning, designing and implementation of best mud systems in accordance with the temperament of formations being drilled.
•Planning and managing departmental budget.
•Handling technical matters with major multinational Drilling Fluids Service Companies and product vendors related to procurement of mud chemicals and equipment.
•Technical evaluation of bids pertaining to mud chemicals and equipment.
•Managing adequate supply of mud chemicals to various rigs according to their requirement.
•Up-dating the Mud Laboratory to improve its function for quality evaluation of mud chemicals and other lab activities.
•Conducting training courses to newly appointed employees.
