Maintain, Repair UCOFT RECAP / AGTS-SEP / Through Site Video / E.S.T. To provide support and assist in training of military personal.

TSV- a video unit consisting of programable portable tv cam. recording unit(vcr) with cableing and battery pack attached to humV. Soldiers utilize the device as a training tool. It records all the soldiers actions to include driving aiming and shooting also responce to given senerios practiced. My duty was to maintain repair all the system. Attach the recorder and cam to include cableing to the unit. Repair the cam cableing or monitor or battery pack. Utilize tech bench for testing or repair to board level to include hand tools and various meters such as voltage meter osyliscope voltage regulator signal injection. All cableing repairs BNC Ethernet and repair antennas. Ordered parts as needed or sent out for replacement unit if unable to repair in the field. Setup viewing room canvas monitor and recorder for AAR or after action review of soldiers training.

Bradley traing system - consisted of (3) metal hulls typical of miltary strength metal. 5 (one) ton A/C units (6) computer with training station and crew station. Electricity based. (three) breaker boxes. 60-100- and 200 amp breakers conected to an additional 400 amp breaker box within the sytem joined to what is called a "fenwall" unit which controls the voltage to the entire system to include emergency system. Comply with gov. regulation in maintenance and repair of each individual part or the entire system.
Daily maintenance compled to include checking the power source from the outside in. Power the system up and check all computer. Run actuial training scenerios utilizing the crew station to ensure all buttons and switched monitors worked correctly. That all lighting systems and smoke detectors functioned. Repair or install EDC (electrial distribution center) repair or replace breakers to include cabling. Reroute or repair electrical cables. Repair or replace computer chips-memory video cards mother boards or ports to include serial USB video or monitors and all cabling reghost each computer as needed or reinstall opperating system per failure. Replace hard drive cd rom program rights to user.

A/C unit - Place hand held temp meter to check cooling and heat. Check all nodes to include internal breaker wiring compressor voltage and presure. Humidifier range and water content Repair or replace evaporative motor and or cage bearing replace and repair and wiring to include blower motor. A/C breakers or nodes or entire A/C unit if needed. Trace wiring for problem and or replace. Replace emergency lighting if needed. Replace and or repair flooring which consisted of non skid. Repair exterior hull utilizing bondo.
Tear down entire system for movment setup entire system at arrival point. Coordinate between sub-contractors to setup site and movement and ground preperation-grounding to ensure safety and gov. compliance.

AGTS - Advanced Gunnery Training system - consists single metal hull set upon eighteen wheeler trailer. The system was conected to a (100 amp) EDC which I installed and maintained to include electrial cableing. The system also included a desiel engine in case of emergency or for use when out in the field. Conducted checks on water oil and hoses fan belts radiator oil filter and coordinated with braggad for refueling. Trailer maintenacne - checked tires lights air hoses air bags and entire air system to ensure usability. Exterior and interior maintenance or hull. With in - (10) computers. (8) monitors and (3) sub systems. Crew station. Repaired or replaced any component within computers to include bios chips other - memory video cards or viideo boards and sound cards and repair or replace entire sound amplifier. BNC cards cabling and ports. Reghost or reinstall opperating system cd and hard drives configure each as needed. Replace and or repair windows based or linux based system. Witin crew station- repair or replace monitors cableing wiring. Switches buttons. Diagnose current to each utilizing built in program which monitored individual switches and buttons or manually trace effect repairs on each portion of the system. Printer repair or replacement to enclude hub which conects each part of the system. Repair or replace emergency lighting and detection. Lights lenses bulbs batteries power source alarms. Power system after checks on electrical units breakers fuses EDC. Run actual training programs utilized by soldiers to determine program lights switches and buttons are opperating correctly. Aiming inferred night vison targeting repair or replace and or configuration of each system as a whole or independant. Check repair or replace networking hub wiring or trace.

E.S.T. (Engagment Skills Training) - consists of (10) virtual pits re-enacting dugout with burm. Each pit (weapon) is coneccted to the computer. Scenerios are shown on a large screen. Soldiers act upon the senerio utilizing simulated weapons ranging from m-16's or 45 cal. hand guns or other. Each simulated weapon is also connected to air which controls recoil.
Duties - Repair main instructor opperator computer to include mouse mother board bios chips video cards sound cards monitor cabling to include networking cable configuration of each. Key board and memory cd reghost or reinstall opperating system. Install air pump hoses screen cables distribute simulated weapons. Repair or replace simulated weapons to include manual triggers butt barral core wiring presure signal hose connectors. Order new parts if needed or entire simulated weapon if required. Assist in training soldiers. Stance firing get used to air presure setting air and instructing on shooting tecniques related to elctronic aiming and targeting and use of sensors on screen to determine hit points. Use of simulated weapon during scenerio. Record and save individual accuracy. Report misuse of simulated weapons track all occurances on computer. Shipping and recieving of all parts.

Other duties - Shipping and recieving of all parts ordered utilizing company data base (maximo) or go in person to FEDX. and take parts or recieve parts.
Hire A/C vendor or fire. Field techs are not epa certified nor licenced. Any break in a/c system (not) having to do with electonics portion must be inspected and repaired by vendor when freon is involved or needs to be installed. Complete invoice and sign in behalf of company when work completed. Inspect work completed and test prior to signing.
Coordinated with electrical contractor after having installed EDC in order that the sub-contractor can connect base power to unit. Check and determine proper ground digging of electrical contractor to ensure compliance deepth and cable utilized. Instruct sub-contractor on path of cabling. Purchase all needed (local) parts utilizing company corp-card and record forward all transaction to corp office. Maintain / repair company's mobil office (trailer) tires a/c unit floors inventory computer phones and wiring all company tools. Maintain MSDS sheets for all required per OSHA.
