I have over 12 years experience working as a nurse within the NHS National Health Service hospital setting,I have proved to be a pro-active and competent manager,able to work as a team member as well as independently,with a proven ability to remain calm under pressure.
To consider my previous knowledge and experience of working within the oil and gas industry I have undertaken the offshore medics course and safety and survival certification and since then worked as a medic on board a variety of vessels and platform,where I have had experience of managing emergency medical evacuations,undertaking health and hygiene inspections and accident reporting etc. Teaching first aid and clinical skills within the offshore industry.
I speak three languages English,Polish,Russian and I am a confident and articulate communicator.
I am fully computer literate and competent in patient record keeping and stores management.
Current general skills include,but are not limited to,camp and food hygiene and safety;history taking;diagnosis and management of both minor and major medical traumatic problems;advanced airway management ;performing other advanced life support techniques including suturing,spinal immobilization and splinting of other injuries;prevention and management of cold injuries and heat illness etc.
