Responsible for identification of material requirements, acquisition, and need dates and coordination of project management/operations, procurement and engineering to maximize material availability and minimize surplus. Assist in the preparation, accumulation, and maintenance of materials control files, such as requisitions, purchase orders, etc. Assist in materials control cost control and training.

Rental Service Corporation, Territory Manager (Nov. 2005 – Apr. 2008)
Promote products in order to achieve assigned rental and sales revenue goals. Sources, calls on, and rents equipment to customers within assigned territory. Conducts territory analysis and planning in order to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers. Develops a thorough understanding of the market conditions and business issues including competitive activity, prospective customers, and market trends, through primary and secondary information sources for the assigned territory. Develops and executes a strategy to achieve revenue goals, as directed by management. Responsible for maintaining prices in the order entry system and implementing pricing tactics for lumber and plywood products. This position is also accountable for maintaining each Business Unit's product information, as well as acting as a liaison between Account Representatives, plant personnel and transportation for customer support and problem resolution. Ensuring prices are positioned advantageously to market conditions, anticipating business trends and forecasting; order entry system accurately reflects desired price and availability and target inventory levels are maintained. Responsibilities included computer systems maintenance, maintaining order entry system (product group information), maintaining contract pricing and footage, enter and maintain product codes and maintain prices. Correct shipping and invoicing errors, prepare associated reports, update, and produce, distribute price sheets and job quotes, document quality claims, coordination and limited settlement, process and log credit memos and provide SAR and/or supernatural reports. Communicate inventory and production information to sales management and customer support, answer technical questions and overflow sales calls for Product Management. Monitor and update prices for all lumber, boards, studs, and plywood facilities, maintain trading ranges, set maximums on products, release safety stock and review system overrides. Coordinate submittal information, literature and samples, coordinate special production runs, monitor inventory levels, reload stock inventory and process orders and reload/reconcile end of month and balance.

Account Representative – Marketing, Building Products, Temple-Inland Forest Products Corp. (Sept. 1999 to Jan. 2001)
The Account Representative is responsible for the day-to-day business activity of assigned customers and/or customers within a specific geographic area of market segment. This position services incoming calls and places outbound calls in order to meet sales objective. Responsibilities include selling planned production volumes, maintaining competitive awareness and communicating sales opportunities. Maintain customer relations by inbound/outbound telemarketing, addressing customer inquiries, closing orders, timely processing of all online orders, notifing customers of price and product availability.
