PLANT MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR
Construct the necessary preventative maintenance procedures for equipment. Completing the preventative maintenance tasks according to the procedure, ensuring that the work is done safety. Note any defects observed during the preventative maintenance task and will report these to the Mechanical Department Manager. Performs, facilitate and strictly implement regular preventive maintenance schedule.
Plans the next days work according to priorities set by the Mechanical Department Manager which includes planning for item such as tools, isolations, spare parts
Conducts condition checks running equipment according to schedule. These condition checks will include checks for leakage’s, vibration, noise and temperature.
Responsible for any running adjustments required on equipment.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, strip, build-up of various pneumatic, hydraulic and rotating equipments such as pumps, motors, actuators.
Install and commissioning new machines. Facilitate and conducts modifications of winding machines and equipments to improve performance and increase speed of production.
Designs machine and maintenance equipment to reduce breakdown time into troubleshooting and repairing and minimize manpower to do one job.
Administers the computerized maintenance module system (ex. SAP). To meet the increasing demand of data base maintenance program.
Create purchase requisitions of machines spare parts and repair kits.
Updates and keep records of all maintenance activities such as preventive and predictive maintenance, lubrication schedules, equipment history, machine breakdown, tagging and check listing of all equipment, machineries and facilities.
To receive and creates work notifications from different department, equipment and facility end-user and relay it to concern department for the commencement of work, repair, installation and maintenance activities by the concerned maintenance section.
Extracts preventive maintenance program from plant or equipment manuals and convert them to checklists and propose maintenance schedule for the implementation of the said program, for the steady and improve performance of equipment and plant machineries, such that uncontrolled breakdown will be eliminated.
Assist the maintenance personnel for the requirement in obtaining spares, tools and consumables. To support them by giving engineering data during troubleshooting. And to keep proper inventory of tools in the custody of maintenance department.
Completes the required data fields on work orders including information such as spares used, description of work completed, request for further work to be done and hours spent on particular tasks. Order tools and materials needed for maintenance activities.
Corrective maintenance (repair) tasks, which includes:
1) Pre-planning the task in terms of safety, spares and tools.
2) Preparing a plan for such a task in terms of procedures, task sequence, duration.
3) Ensures the best operating procedure and manufacturer’s specifications in his repair.
4) Give feedback on work orders regarding the task details.

Performs maintenance on Pipe Winding Machines and supporting machines needed for fiberglass pipe production.
