I have been working as a mercantile marine officer since 2000 working up the ranks as I gained experience in each rank and satisfied the company's promotion criteria.
I am employed with an Oil Major Shipping company in the rank of a chief officer. I hold Master (FG) STCW 95 certificate of competency issued by the Government of India issued September 2006.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I have worked on all types of Oil tankers, including Product tankers & VLCC's, carried a wide variety of cargoes and worked on various types of pumping systems from Framo types to conventional centrifugal pumping systems.
In addition to that I have also worked on LNG carrier though just for one trip this year itself.

I completed my High School education in Science subjects and scored a high 92.33% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
Later I joined the Maritime industry and successfully completed all my Competency examinations right up to the Master stage in September 2006, all at the first attempt, issued by the Mercantile Marine Dept., Mumbai, Government of India.
I also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Psychology that i undertook from the reputed Mumbai University and achieved a First Class in the same ie. 60% Marks.
I have completed all the STCW 95 training courses in addition to several CBT modules along the way.

Proficient in typing over the standard Qwerty keyboard.

Having gained a lot of experience sailing, I now wish to gain both knowledge & experience in the Offshore industry and I am sure I would put my best food forward to achieve a high level of competency as I always have.
