September 2002-May 2008 Qdoba Mexican Grill Grand Blanc, MI
As former General Manager, and assistant Manager of a restaurant I was required to work a minimum of 50 hours each week and be on call for emergencies and questions at all times; to be in charge of making sure employees are doing their job correctly(app. 25 working under me), efficiently and with the highest of quality. My duties included: partial responsibility for the hiring, firing and training of our staff; the ordering, receiving and inventory of our products- food and other wise; the maintenance and cleanliness of the store, the happiness and well being of our customers as well as labor and food cost control. I made cash deposits and change orders plus many other miscellaneous tasks including schedule- making, cooking and prepping food. On my shifts I basically did whatever it takes to ensure safe, high quality food with fast and friendly service and maximum profitability. I am currently employed part time doing misc. projects at Family Video while attending school full time.
