1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Results-oriented senior international executive with considerable expertise in the management of major marine related developments throughout Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Former Master in command of tankers (crude and products), large container, cable layers and reefer vessels. Qualified Shipbroker, with MCIT (Economics and Transport Policy), presently operating two owned marine sector businesses in Dubai. Highly motivated in pursuit of quality with many major accomplishments and honours. A leader at the cutting edge of his profession. Highly mobile, willing to relocate or travel extensively to fulfill corporate objectives.

I am an experienced Rigmover, Shipbroker, Master Mariner Pilot / STS Superintendent.

I have also work in Ship Management as Fleet manager, then Fleet Director - managing 75 ships.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]


• 11 years as deep-sea Master to 1996, then ashore as Fleet Director for 74 deep-sea ships in all formats , floating electricity generating power stations.
• Rigmover / Towmaster - all types of mobile offshore jack-up units, of various designs and sizes, including one of the world’s largest jack-up units (Russian Arctic, severe weather class). Rigmoving accomplished to within 2m. positioning in tidal streams up to 12 knots, and to within 10cm. positioning in calm waters, 316 “Hands-on” rigmoves to date.
• Marine Warranty Services.
• Valuation and condition survey of mobile units for underwriters and banks.
• Pre-finance and pre-purchase inspections.
• Reactivation and Inventory Control.
• Complete rig auditing: hull & machinery, marine and drilling aspects

Offshore Installations – acting as Offshore Manager
• Installed jackets, topsides, flares, and bridges using heavy lift barges.
• Installed two production platforms using an innovative “float-over” method in the pioneering stages of the method. Units installed were up to 6,750 tonnes.
• Installed sub-sea pipelines, beachlandings and subsea pipe-crossings.
• PLEM and template installations; deepwater anchor and cable moorings for CALM / SBMs.
• Pipeline from Al Khalij Field to Halul Island storage depot.

Cable Laying
• Installation of international sub-sea power lines. World’s second marine laid fibre-optic cable in coastal regions in depths up to 28,000 feet.
• Cable inspections, locating, grappling from sea-bed for repair splicing.
• Operation of (ROVs)Remotely Operated Vehicles where saturation diving was not practical.

Land Drilling Rigs
• Inventory and auditing of land rigs, operational and “knocked down” in stack for Company audit requirements and pre-purchase inspection.
