Presently I am working as Training Manager O&M in Reliance Industries Limited in their KG-D6 at Kakinada, AP.I was working as Production Superintendent in Aban Off-Shores Ltd, PY3 Production Platform (Tahara) FPU. I have been working as Training Coordinator in Surat, Gujarat (India) in Niko Resources Ltd, a MNC from Canada.

I am having international Experience with Shell Oman (PDO) in Training Department involved in Training about 250 technicians in HSE, Operational Topics to Off-Shore Petroleum Industries Training Organization (OPITO) Standards. I hold EDEXEL certified BTEC in Competence Assessment, implemented Competence assessment to all Operations & maintenance Technicians for more than 5yrs before joining Niko Resources.

I have been working as Central-Control-Room-in-charge in a large integrated Oil, Gas and water injection facility at Lekhwair in Petroleum Development Oman. I have been certified by EXECEL for Gas Plant Central Control room operations to Off-shore Petroleum Industries Training Organization (OPITO), involving TDC3000-Total Distributed Control of remote m/f stations, Bulk separators, Test separators, Oil/water storage/export, Gas-compressors, Gas-sweetening, Gas-Conditioning, Gas-Export, Glycol & NGL recovery systems, Water injection involving deaerator etc., The utilities include hot-oil system, Fuel gas system, Instrument air system and power generation. I am also familiar with Foxboro DCS, ABB & Fisher-Rosemount Delta V systems. In 1999, I was moved to Training department to Train new recruits and Technicians for Gas Plant operations in both field and panel operations. I have used Operator Training Simulator (OTS) in training Operators. I have worked in commissioning Gas compressors, Gas plant and water injection facilities in my long service in Oil & Gas industry.

I have Diploma in Total Quality Management & ISO 9000 and I have done BTEC Diploma from EDEXCEL, UK for competence Assessment as per Off-Shore Petroleum Industries Training Organization (OPITO).I also have Industrial graduation from Madras Fertilizers Ltd, In Ammonia Plant Operations.

Presently, with Reliance Industries Ltd as Addl., Training Manager O & M at Kakinada in KG-D6 since Dec 2007. Conducted Vendor courses to O & M Team- Like MEG by AKPS, TEG by Comart, Italy, Sub sea by AKS-Solutions and various HSE trainings.(Sub sea Wells with Electro-hydraulic controls).Deep Sea operations and FPSO.

Recently worked in Aban Off-Shores Ltd, as Production Superintendent (March 2007 to Dec 2007) in their production Platform in PY3 field-Tahara (FPU & FSO). Only field in India with Sub-sea wells and Well-head controls. Aban is ISO-9001 certified company and carries out its operations in a professional way. (Sub Sea Wells with Hydraulic controls)

With Niko Resources Ltd (June 2005-Sept 2006) as Training Coordinator in Hazira Oil, Gas & Off-Shore Facility involved in Modular Training of Drawings, HSE, Operations, SAIT Modules, and Written Exam & Field visit on Competence Assessment. SWP Preparations & Knowledge sharing session for human resource Development for Off-Shore, Land Based Drilling Platform, Gas Plant technicians. (Integrating Production & Maintenance technicians into Operations Team).

Latest Overseas Experience: Since Dec 1999-September 2004(Petroleum Development Oman).

1. Recent Experience in On-shore Oil fields: From Mar 1994 to 1999:

Worked as Central-Control-Room-in-Charge in Lekhwair, Petroleum Development Oman involving TDC3000-Total Distributed Control of remote m/f stations, Bulk separators, Test separators, Oil/water storage/export, Gas-compressors, Gas-sweetening, Gas-Conditioning, Gas-Export, Glycol & NGL recovery systems, Water injection involving deaerator etc., The utilities include hot-oil system, Fuel gas system, Instument air system and power generation.

My job involved operating from Control room integrated Complex Oil, Gas and water injection plant. Testing wells and feeding the report in MIS. Monitoring ESPs, Gas lift wells and Stabilizing Crude for maintaining quality of Crude dispatched not only from our field but also from third party like Japex, Occidental into (MOL) Main Oil Line. Maintaining Gas header pressure for compressor and gas lifting, gas injection (SCADA) & Government Gas grid. Water injection is also monitored by ESP wells for deaerator and injected to water injection wells. Oil production was=14,000M3/d and Gas Production was=4,000,000m3/day, water injection was (16,000 M3 from WS wells and 14,000 m3 from Produced water) 30,000m3/day. My job includes preparing well test reports, feeding test results, gas optimization of gas lift wells, monitoring ESPC,ESP(electrical-submergible pumps), production report preparing, daily gas & water balance, deferment calculations, presenting daily, weekly and monthly reports to head Office. Monitoring & guiding field Operators in their daily activities, Planning for Plant shut-down, start-up, Ordering consumable Chemicals like Demulsifier, Biocides, Corrosion-inhibitors, antifoam chemicals, glycol and other proprietary chemicals.

2. Managerial Experience: From May 1985 to 1994:

Worked in Power Hunters System, Madras as Managing Partner involved in design, development & manufacturing Power-conditioning equipment to Department of Telecommunications as per their Specifications. Developed Training Programme for Electrical, Mechanical and Instrument Technicians.

3. Past Experience in On-shore Oil fields: From April 1979 to 1985:

Worked in Petroleum Development Oman in almost all their On-Shore-Oil fields in Gathering stations, Production stations, Booster stations, Gas Plant, Water injection system involving Water supply wells, Deaerator and water injection wells, and Water disposal wells. Equipment involved such as Gas turbines, Gas generators, Diesel generators, Centrifugal pumps, and Reciprocating pumps, Compressors both centrifugal & reciprocating. Dehydration facility involving bulk/test separators, Tanks and Corrugated Plate Interceptors with Utilities like Fire water, Fire and Gas detection system and other HSE practices as per SHELL standards.

4. First Experience in Process plant: From Nov 1976 to 1979:

Worked in Madras Fertilizers Limited in Ammonia Plant as Process Operator involving field and panel operation of Hydro-desulphurization, Steam reforming, CO- Conversion, CO2 removal and Methanation, Compressors, Synthesis and Refrigeration sections with Boilers, Furnaces, heat-exchangers, Steam turbines of extraction and induction type Motors, pumps and compressors, Start-up and shut down of process plant involving boilers, catalytic vessels and reactors and related utilities like Steam System, Drain, Vent and Flare systems.
