Project Features:-

The corridor is of 176 kms. Of length from Sagar to Damoh, the road stretch of length 70 kms. Constitutes SH. No.-14 and from Damoh to Jabalpur the Road stretch of length 106 kms. Constitutes SH. No.-37. This is a very important road and the traffic at urban centers of Sagar and Jabalpur is very high. Almost entire of the road has two lanes and a few stretches of intermediate lane. Some portion of the road is of 4-lane inside the city area of the Jabalpur NH No.-7 (Naggar to Kathi) is crossing along the width of the corridor between Katangi and Jabalpur. Onits ways it traverses through industrial growth center of Sagar and urban centers of Sagar-Damoh and Jabalpur.

The width of carriage way generally varies from 2.50 m to 4.50 m. The suggested Pavement Treatment options- Overlay on existing Bituminous Pavement, Widening and Strengthening by overlay and Reconstruction from sub-base, Raising reconstruction for HFL areas, Reconstruction from sub grade. The inventory recommendations of cross drainage structures along the corridor is 7 Nos. culverts, 7 Nos. Box culverts, 45 Nos. Pipe culverts, 20 Nos. Slab culverts, 6 Nos. Major bridges, 5 Nos. Minor bridges.

The four lane bypass situated on NH-2 between Km. 307.500 to Km. 321.100 divided in two Phase. Phase - I includes four laning and strengthening of existing two-lane road. Phase II is new construction of four lane National Highway. This bypass also includes One ROB, 9 Nos. Overpasses, 3 Nos. Underpasses, 36 Nos. of drainage work and 1.5 Km. of Reinforced Earth Wall and 14 Km. Retaining wall.

• Field density of embankment, Sub grade, GSB, WMM as per technical specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execution of earthwork, Sub grade, GSB, WMM & DBM, BC activities in roadwork as per MOST specifications.
• Dealing with client and consultants for day-to-day work programme.
• Preparing monthly progress to achieve target with the available machinates.

This US$120 million project consists of the four laning of approximately 80 Km. of NH-1 in the State of Haryana between Karnal to Ambala on Haryana/Punjab Border.
The work involves construction supervision of 2 new lanes of flexible pavement constructed adjacement to the existing carriageway and the up gradation of the existing pavement to substain heavy traffic and the heavy axle loads, including the construction of 51 Nos. bridges, 3 No. interchanges and numerous cross drainage structures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Laying of Embankment, Sub grade, GSB as per the required specified levels supplied by the clients and consultants.
• Laying of WMM with the WMM sensor paver.
• Checking top levels of the finish surface i.e. of embankment top, sub grade, GSB, WMM surface and get the consultants satisfied with the surface.
