1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
To Whom It May Concern:
I am currently working at Balmoral Group as a Material Coordinator. Since joining the company in May 2005 I have been responsible for maintaining various databases, holding induction training and dealing with customers, clients and other staff members on a daily basis. I also cover annual leave and absence for the Production Manager.
During my role as Health & Safety Assistant, I held new staff induction training, assisted with internal audits and dealt with all administration. I have also single handily ran the call receiving area within the company and therefore, I developed and constructed new ways to make this run smoother. I also gathered information for legal files, which helped other members of staff at a later date, which was vital to the way the customer was handled.
I am a confident person and I can communicate with customers and colleagues in every aspect, which I have been able to prove daily in my current role.
Due to the nature of my position I am able to work alone when necessary or as part of a team. Because I usually work on my own I normally do not have a structured timetable to work to and therefore, I can plan and organise my day with little or no help from senior management, both of which I have no problem with.
I have held a full and clean UK driving license since passing in 2001 and have also gained my 2 1/2 ton forklift license this year.
I am open to any position within your company that you think matches my skills and experience. I would ideally like to work offshore and feel with my ability to prioritise my workload, my ambition and determination; I would be able to make a significant contribution to your team.
