Eight years Plus experience in Construction/Commissioning and Maintenance as Instrumentation Engineer in oil & gas (offshore & onshore), Managing vendor instrumentation personnel, Supervision of project instrumentation construction works, which includes, installations, inspection and testing, follow up of Instrumentation punch list, QC activity, in oil & Gas industry.

•Presently working in YOKOGAWA as Instrumentation construction engineer for DCS Upgrade system for PS 2/PS 3 in Qatar offshore.

Construction
•I have been involved primarily with the petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries covering all aspects of instrumentation either in offices on grass root jobs or actually on site dealing with survey/installation of new plants or site surveys and investigative work to revamp existing plant.
•Prepared detail of scheduling project.
•With regard to instrumentation I have a working knowledge of the electrical side ranging from junction box, rack and cable installation to the signal I/O of many types of DCS/PLC systems. I have also covered various types of different process and pneumatic hook-ups, panel design and control room/plant layouts.
•Coordinate and review of procurement wiring/cable, control system, control panels, control valves, in-country contractor fabrication and installation efforts.
•With scheduling Planning work execution, supervision of jobs, working out site requirements,
•Assigning jobs for team of Engineers, technicians,
•Interaction with client for onsite modifications, changes & its approval.
•Monitoring verifying independently the quality control activities of sub contractor as per the standards followed for the execution of job.
•Preparing & monitoring the sub contractor records & sequencing the document hand over and its approval from client.
•Pre-commissioning checks, installation, commissioning cause & effect analysis.

Maintenance:
•Maintenance activities of the Instrumentation and control equipment in the assigned area and arrange resources, schedule and control the routine, preventive and emergency maintenance, in order to efficiently and safely complete all the activities well within the allocated period of outage.
•Investigate and improvement in the process inline with the strategic target. Explore possibility of improvement in maintenance quality, safety, man-hours spent in order to strengthen the supervisor's effort to contribute to the organisation's action plan of 'Continuous Development and Process improvement'.
•Review documents related to the projects, visit the project sites, co-ordinate the works related to interfacing with the existing plant, in order to contribute to the efficient and timely completion of the project. Monitor parameters of running machines, trouble shoot and derive effective solutions to equipment problems.
•Faultfinding, testing & trouble shooting of various instruments and maintenance of measurement and process control equipment.
•Turn around and ensure timely Completion of repairs, inspection of critical instrument.
•Reviewing of field maintenance reports and history card entries. Involved in installation, testing, troubleshooting, validation, calibration and repairs, loop checking etc.
•Follow work orders, provide guidance to field maintenance on critical instruments. Procurement for spares.
•Involved and trained in all kind of plant safety activities, like permit applicant training, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) other industrial safety training.
