Contract Administrator: Member of the Contract Administration Team managing the multidisciplinary Pre/Post Contract Stages of Abu Dhabi Airport Expansion Program of Approximate value US$ 6.9 billion.
Accountability:
• Checking and reporting on designer, contractor and associated parties compliance with the contract and progress of works. Coordination with site team to ascertain contractual and practical measures to ensure compliance with requirements. Advice on specific requirements of the contract and performance in accordance therewith.
• Assessing contractual implications of site decisions and optimization of practical contract conditions.
• Maintaining a working relationship with Design, Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Legal Management to facilitate organizational interfaces
• Supervision of site measurement team, management of monthly valuations.
• Agreeing valuations and methods of reimbursement with SCADIA and Parsons Representatives. Setting up and managing site valuation procedures. Liaison and coordination of agreement on valuations with Contractors.
• Managing directives and variations, reviewing SCADIA requirements, assessing implications, negotiation of omissions or extra costs, coordination and reporting on the contractual implications of other parties engaged with the works.
• Final Accounts management including preparation, submission and agreement with client/Consultant and similarly with the respective subcontractors.
• Organization of an approval programming system, regular review of distribution and assessing delay implications of late approvals
• Compilation and securitization of design deliverables to ensure conformance, accuracy and completeness of information. Review of Bills of Quantities to assure an accurate reflection of the work.
• Preparation and production of Pre-Qualification documentation, Requests for Proposal documentation and Contract Documents for Design Agreements and Construction Agreements.
• Assistance in negotiation and clarification of terms to prospective bidders, issuance of change bulletins during the tendering process, incorporation of amendments into final contract documentation, finalization of award and letting of contracts
• Claims management, advising on all aspects of contractual claims. Responsible for the development and management of procedures to recognize and identify claims as they evolve, managing timely resolution under the changes provisions where possible, obtaining legal expertise as appropriate.
• Avoidance of subcontract claims, assessment of variations in lieu of claims. Recording pertinent events, ensuring proper submission in accordance with the contract. Advising on the imposition of liquidated damages where applicable, discerning divisions of responsibility between the various parties.
• Claims evaluation including compilation of effective contemporary records, preparation of submissions for Mediation and/or Arbitration on contractual matters.
• Presentation of documentation to company lawyers and SCADIA for extra-contractual matters.

Accountability:

• Liaise between the Client-Engineer-Contractor in all-related contractual issues.
• Initiate and administrate all contractual correspondences.
• Defining the key control point of the contractual aspects and defining the progress measures of the day to day Contract Administration activities.
• Identify, request and monitor Change Orders/Variation Orders and the relevant correspondences (change Management Procedures).

Accountability:
