CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing with extreme interest in a position within your company. During the past six years I have been employed as a Commercial Diver in Port Lincoln on an offshore role. I have gained and developed many skills and qualifications throughout this time. As a commercial diver I understand the importance of working as a team as well as being able to work as an individual unsupervised. Being part of a team I am motivated to contribute as a member of the team on an offshore role that also requires long periods away from home in isolated areas.
An important aspect of my workplace is occupational health and safety, which I approach with a professional attitude. In using heavy machinery, high and low pressure equipment, firearms, lifting equipment and breathing apparatus in a wide variety of changing conditions including isolated areas, I have an excellent understanding of the importance of safety for myself and of those working around me. I believe that my First Aid qualifications and continual refreshment of these skills is a contribution to my understanding of the importance of occupational health and safety within the workplace.
I am extremely motivated and determined to succeed as I have a great passion for offshore work and along with my current experience and qualifications I believe I would make a valuable and highly regarded member of your team..
I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my application further and look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
