I am a Registered General Nurse in Britain, Iceland and Ireland, HSE certified remote site/offshore medic, emergency medical technician-remote care (EMT-R) and diver medic. My experience covers offshore and land based clinics for oil industry, construction industry and private contractor in some of the most hostile environments in the world both hot and cold; medically I have dealt with everything from minor illnesses to major Trauma. I have experience in working on seismic surveys on land and at sea, land rigs, desert camps, tender barges, swamp barges, jack up rigs, semi sub rigs, FPSO’s, Platforms, accommodation barges and pipelay vessels.
I have helicopter administration and medical evacuation experience.
I have Ten years Occupational Health surveillance experience including case management, completing courses in audiometry, spirometry and phlebotomy
I Have Resuscitation Training experience both basic and advanced and I am certified to teach occupational first aid.
I also have Occupational Health and Safety experience including emergency preparedness, safety orientations, pathogen briefings & Control of substances hazardous to health.
My nursing background was specialising in Accident and Emergency and Coronary Care.
My relevant survival and medical certs for UK and Norwegian waters are in date as is my ACLS
