. Working as Assistant Engineer (Operations) in BDPP, Brahmapuram, Kochi, 100 MW Diesel Thermal Power Plant under KSEB from April ’07.
. Worked as Assistant Engineer (Operations&maintenance) in 220 KV Sub Station, Brahmapuram under KSEB from Feb’06 to March’07
Responsible for assisting the Operator (Asst.Exe Engineer) in the operation of Diesel power plant from the control room through PLC based systems. The Diesel machines are of 5 no: each of 20MW capacity ( Make :Semi-Pielstik, France). The main work is to run the machines during normal state, alert state, emergency state and restorative state of the system smoothly and safely by monitoring, supervising and instantaneously controlling at all hours to generate maximum power at correct voltage and frequency.
Familiar with routine Operation & Maintenance of switchyard equipment such as power transformers(220/110,53.33MVA,Single Phase Transformer Banks and 12.5MVA, 110/11Kv 3phase Transformers),2.5MVA, 110/11Kv 3phase Transformers),220Kv Gas circuit Breakers, Bus Bar line isolators and also similar equipments in 110kv Switchyard and in PLCC (Power Line Carrier Communication).
Experience in the preparation of work schedules, arranging the back feeding for various out going feeders without interruption, Monitoring the general protection of power transmission systems including control panels, Protection relays, circuit breakers, PT’s etc of 220 &110kv feeders.
