Throughout my career I have been hard working, honest and trustworthy person who enjoys practical and physically active work and can turn my hand to just about anything. I have excellent time keeping and attendance records and will work additional and unsociable hours as required. I have learnt a lot during my career to date and am keen to undertake further training to build on my skills base. I have worked in many different industries from leaving school in 2003. Firstly, I worked for the Inland Revenue. My duties included inputting and retrieving information from computer systems, handling telephone inquiries and also observe confidentiality and data protection regulations. I was then a a deck officer cadet in the merchant navy and worked on a rig supply boat in the north sea and gained practical experience of daily operations at sea. I have also worked for BOC Edwards operating machinery and handling hazardous chemicals. I was responsible for providing help and support to technicians and maintenance teams. My last job was an assistant manager for a bookmakers, which give me experience in team work, management and general day to day running of a business. The roles included cash handling, book keeping and the weekly rota for fellow staff. Through all my work experience I have always gained skills and am aware of the benefits to be gained working together.
