• Managing and supervising a team of 3 Welding Inspectors, 5 QC Inspectors.
• Studying drawings & specifications for Jack-up Rigs & Off-shore Platform components like Jacket, Deck, Flare, Deck, Piping etc.
• Identifying & qualifying welding/ Brazing procedures (PQR)/ (BQR) for new joint configuration. Preparing Weld Map, Welding/Brazing Procedure Specification (WPS)/ (BPS).
• Preparation of QA-QC Project specific procedures including Quality Control Plan, Non Destructive Testing Plans & NDT Drawings.
• Welding Consumable Estimation, Welding ancillary assessment (Welding M/Cs, Special Instrument etc.) & expediting with Purchase Department & Manufacturers or Traders to make sure on time availability.
• Conducting Training and Qualification of Welders /Brazer (WPQ) / (BPQ).
• Preparation of weld repair procedure, in case of repairs & monitoring its implementation, Surveillance inspection for distortion control during welding.
• Conducting weekly project specific Quality review meeting & Project specific audit of all function to check implementation of QA/QC project specific procedure.

• Preparation of manuals and Implementation of ISO 9001:2000 standard & ASME S, U and R stamp.
