2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

More than 17 years of extensive professional experience on Quality Control/ Quality Assurance of various steel structural construction, fabrication, erection & manufacturing, related activities for onshore projects, wellhead platforms, jackets & topsides construction. Petro-chemical plant, power plant, desalination plant, fabrication and erection of pressure vessels, process and bulk storage tanks, heat exchangers, columns, furnace, blasting and coating activities, insulation activities, piping inspection, welding inspection, civil works inspection, scaffold activities, refinery maintenance/shutdown/turnaround and construction projects, pre-commissioning, NDE inspection, interpretation of radiographs and AutoCAD operator.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

QC Coordinator

Overall control and supervise all QC Inspectors ensuring inspection are well inspected and accepted in accordance with the relevant acceptance criteria. Coordinating with concerned section regarding all quality control in fabrication and testing works area. Coordinating with CA & CY, solving and clarification of all non conformance found during work activities. Coordinating with QA, solving and implementing on all QA/QC discrepancies. Review and ensure QC final document package for compliance and completeness before submission for approval. Plan and control that all inspection requests are carried out and completed as planned. Monitor and ensure that the inspection/tests are carried out in accordance with the approved ITP. Control, monitor and ensure that the entire punch list are generated and closed out in timely manner. Plan and conduct training for structural and piping QC/Technician. Monitor the quality awareness training on QA/QC personnel. Assessment and solution on current quality control criteria at site.

Project Quality Manager

Participate in review of contract specification and develop Project Quality Plan in consultation with the Project Management Team. Coordinate the development of Inspection and Test Plan with discipline Project Engineers and Quality Supervisor. Coordinate the development of project Level III procedures. Work Instructions and addenda with discipline Project Engineers and Quality Supervisor. Liaise with Area Quality Manager and PMT to obtain and ensure resolution on quality issues. Develop project and Subcontracts Audit Schedules. Monitor fabrication operations and all associated inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance to the relevant specification and reference codes and standard. Monitor “As-Built” documentation ensuring it is progressively generated and where possible signed off the client. Review inspection requirements for project material requisitions and associated purchase orders and invitations to tender and associated subcontracts. Liaise with the Client, Certifying Authority and attend meeting as required. Undertaking audits with the assistance from other qualified Auditors. Maintain project Non-Conformance Log, Audit Reports and CAR to ensure the timely close-out of any non-conformance reports. Produce weekly and monthly Quality Status Reports for project controls compilations into a Progress Report. Attend weekly and monthly meeting with the Client and Subcontractors.

Project Quality Coordinator

Project Quality Supervisor

Participating in contract review and reviewing contract specifications. Assist the PQM in developing PQP and ITPs. Liaise with the relevant personnel in the production of level III procedures and addenda. Ensure their controlled distribution in conjunction with the project QA Engineer. Supervise the preparation of NDT drawings and initiate changes/revisions. Supervising the preparation of the summary sheets, ensuring timely distribution of approved NDT drawings, representing Quality Department at project meetings, monitoring as-built documentation ensuring it is progressively compiled and submitted to the client approval, monitoring fabrication operations and ensuring compliance to the specifications, monitoring quality control operations ensuring compliance to the specifications, maintaining project NCR log and ensuring timely close-out, assisting the PQM in the preparation and execution of the project audits and ensuring the logs are maintained for level 3 procedures. Perform the duties of the Project Quality Manager during his time-off.

Scaffold Coordinator

Coordinate to scaffold inspectors assigned on a job. Review and approve scaffold report from material request, material issuance/inspection, erection of scaffold, control tag of scaffold acceptance that ready for use, and control tag of scaffold ready for dismantling. Coordinate to scaffold sub-contractor for rental of some materials. Coordinate to scaffold inspector for proper maintenance of scaffolding materials resembling of tubes, boards, fittings and ladders. Ensure all scaffold materials that already dismantled shall be monitor and return to storage area.

QA/QC/NDE Coordinator

Coordinate to QC Inspectors assigned on a job, coordinates with subcontractor personnel on specific requirements for NDT and PWHT. Review and approve QA/QC report from inspectors for client approvals. Prepare repair procedures and welding procedure/methodology as may be required by PSPC prior to work execution, coordinate with Brown & Root welding engineering (Houston) on special procedure requirements, interpret film radiographs and other NDT works, identify WPS required for the job. Conduct site inspection mostly for welding, blasting, coating, insulation works and perform QC inspection works in the absence of inspector and coordinates with PSPC overall QA/QC matter. Develop and establish QA/QC procedures.

QA/QC Inspector/Engineer

Responsible for ensuring all required tests and inspection for piping, welding, steel structures, blasting, coating and equipment’s have been carried out, recorded and results have met the specified requirements. Prepare inspection & test plan, tie-in package, hydrotesting package and procedures. Witness/review welder’s performance qualification test. Review and approve sub-contractors NDE procedures. Witness hydro and leak test, mechanical equipment installation and alignment, RT film interpretation, valves repair and testing, chemical cleaning, blasting, painting and insulation works. Perform and operate blasting/painting apparatus such as dry/wet film thickness gauge, low voltage and high voltage holiday detector, pinhole detector, adhesion tester, cross cut tester, surface profile comparator, whirling hygrometer, steel temperature, and surface profile gauge. Conduct line check during piping assembly, erection, and pre-commissioning. Conduct all necessary inspections as per project specifications, applicable codes and standards. Ensure hand over package is completely accepted and signed by the client before turn over for commissioning stage
