Qualifications and Background

I was hired by Entergy as a Power Plant Operator at the Monroe Plant in May 1999. March 2003 I was promoted to Operations Technician. February 2007 I was promoted to Production Supervisor. Currently, I have 9 years of experience with the Entergy Corporation. Monroe is a Return to Service Plant that has 3 gas fired boilers with Westinghouse Steam Turbines capable of 135mw. In the winter I worked at the Sterlington Plant which has a 235mw gas fired drum unit and 2 GE Frame 7B combined cycle Gas Turbines, with a GE steam turbine - total 190MW. May of 2004, I mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom and deployed to Bagdad. Upon returning to work in December of 2005, I resumed my former duties as well as training at the newly acquired Perryville Plant. The Perryville Plant has a simple cycle GE7FA Gas Turbine as well as combined cycle unit comprising 2 GE 7FA Gas Turbines, with a GE steam turbine.
