After leaving secondary education I was employed as an apprentice mechanic by Barnetts automotive dealership. During that time I went to college ( 3 years part time) to study NVQs in Mechanics, Computers studies, Carpentry & Joinery, Electronics and Plumbing. I passed with distinction.
My career as a carpenter/joiner included several large & small contracts throughout the UK, Germany and Spain.
From 2005 until recently I lived in Spain during which time I gained an IRATA ( level 1) rope access certificate. I am keen to move forward and build a career in the Oil and Gas industry. To show my commitment I have relocated to the Aberdeen area and have undertaken the relevant safety and medical certificates for offshore employment.
