In response to your advertisement on the job eniro website, I would like to be considered for the cad design position or any other suitable vacancies in Denmark.I am currently working for Draeger Safety Ltd as a Design Engineer. In my present position I am responsible for the design of the companies range of breathing apparatus at the UK site.The reason I‘m now in copenhagen is I have just become a father with a danish resident & I want to be in Denmark full time.I am currently on a four week leave from Draeger Safety at the moment & I would be available for chat at any time.During my time at previous companies I feel I have gained a good range of knowledge in design and manufacturing processes. Feb 2007 – Present. Draeger Safety UK Ltd, Blyth, Northumberland.
Position held; Design Engineer.
Responsible for design of the companies’ range of breathing apparatus & breathing protection masks. Mainly involved in high & low pressure arrangements, machined components, shoulder pad design, production support & plastic mouldings. Also involved in a face mask test module project which is required for face seal, positive breathing pressure & lung demand valve checks, this module is used by many UK fire stations.

June 2006 – Feb 2007. ABB Ltd, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear.
Position held; Applications Engineer (After Sales).
Working as part of a four man team my job functions involved producing quotations, detailed AutoCAD panel layouts & electrical diagrams for existing switchgear modifications. My duties also include application design of projects which involves bill of material creation, requisition of equipment & instrumentation for the introduction of extension contracts to manufacture. Other duties included being on the SAP (UK) implementation team in Burton on Trent.

Mar 2004 – June 2006. Draeger Safety UK Ltd, Blyth, Northumberland.
Position held; Pro/E Draughtsman.
Responsible for supporting the design team by creating 3D models & detailed drawings using Pro/Engineer ‘Wildfire’ & AutoCAD Release 2004 software for the companies’ range of breathing apparatus, breathing protection masks, protective helmets and clothing. Mainly involved in sub-assemblies from concept, modelling & detailing component parts & bill of material creations.

Oct 2001 – Mar 2004. Composite Design Support Ltd, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
Position held; Pro/E Design Engineer, (Contract at Komatsu)
Involved in design of the companies’ range of hydraulic excavators, this included the creation of sub-assemblies from concept, modelling & detailing component parts using Pro/Engineer 2001 software. Modification & updating of drawings, issue registers & cable harness layouts using several specialist modules which include; sheet metal & piping.

Position held; Design Engineer.
Responsible for mechanical design of a unique range of low voltage distribution equipment using CNC peps 3 software, AutoCAD 2000 & AutoDesk 3D Inventor. The products were constructed from fabricated, moulded, extruded & machined components utilising various metals & high-performance composites, employing novel construction methods.

Aug 1993 - Jun 1996. Durham Switchgear Ltd, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear.
Position held; Applications Engineer.
My job function was to work within a team under senior engineer supervision on the introduction of new contracts to manufacture. My duties included the design of electrical switchgear arrangements from customer specifications. Also responsible for application design of projects which involved bill of material creation, requisition of equipment / instrumentation, electrical calculations (HV / LV), dealing with customer requests & witness testing.
