• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

OPERATIONS ACTIVITIES
* Participation on the Precommissioning, commissioning and start up of In Amenas gas project with KBR and JGC.
* Assist in checking and following the start-up sequences during the Performance test and start-up of equipment remotely.
* Control Room (Honeywell PKS experion) and plant operator, responsible for safe and continuous operation of Central Processing Facility.
* Operate the new HMI, MARK VI or DCS system in the control room and in the field
* Starts up, shut-down, isolates, adjusts flow rates / levels / pressure/ temperatures on various operational units to achieve optimum performance.
* Operate unit and system equipment such as Separators, Pumps, K.O Drums, Strippers, Air compressors, API separators, Dehydration, and Turbo-expander., Oil heaters, Turbine generators, Nitrogen package , Centrifugal gas compressors, SUNDYNE compressors, VRU compressors, Fuel gas equipment, scrubbers, Gas dryers, Liquid and gas cooling fan equipment, Co2 removable unit (amine aMDEA), Reverses osmosis unit (RO unit), Corrosion inhibitor package, Methanol package, Instrumentation for measurement and control of pressure, flow, temperature, level, Export and storage area (LPG, Condensate pumps, Skid metering, Pig launcher), plants fire and gas detection and fire protection systems.
* Monitor plants parameters and records in the plant log sheet every 2 or 4 hours a variety of readings such as flow rates, levels, temperatures, pressures, etc.
* Takes immediate and required corrective actions to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production when alarms are activated or during emergency situations.
* Controls the injection rate of all plants chemicals to ensure safe and proper control of gas quality and minimize corrosion
* In emergency situations ensures the safe shutdown, isolation and blow down of relevant plant.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
* Make routine checks on all equipment and units to ensure proper functioning.
* Gauge manually all crude oil and condensate tanks.
* Prepare equipment for maintenance/checks condition of equipment on completion of maintenance and prepares for commissioning by following an approved established procedure.
* Report equipment and instrument defects, leaks, storage tank condition, etc. immediately to supervisor and in emergency situations takes possible quick actions.

HSE ROLE/OPERATING PROCEDURE
* ensures the safety of plant shift operators/helpers/servicemen and plant equipment.
* Monitor work sites, ensures fulfilling relevant work permit conditions, checks completed work to ensure adherence to work permit conditions and maintaining good housekeeping.
* Ensure that equipment/system is integrated safely into operation after completion of work.
* Read and acquaints ownself with operating manuals, procedures, standing instructions and plant operating parameters and ensures compliance with same during routine and non-routine jobs.
* Adhere to established operating procedures and work methods.
* Initiate and lead fire fighting or other emergency actions in my area until it is taken over by higher authority.

• EDUCATON:
2002/2004 -Diploma of Senior Technician graduated from the
Algerian Petroleum Institute (IAP/Sonatrach) in Skikda –Algeria-.
2001/2002- university of technology.
Jun 2001- scientific baccalaureate-levels

Have attended several courses and trainings regarding process and safety with certificates:
* HSE training (HSE foundations, Permit to work PTW, Confined space entry, Work at height, Excavation, Electrical safety, Safe handling of chemicals, Manual handling, Energy insulation, Hazard recognition, Hand tools safety, Environmental awareness, Gas testing…) to this day.
* Gas processing training with JK (JGC/KBR) includes precommissioning and commissioning phases.
* Proper use of PID diagrams, PFD diagrams… etc
* Vapour recovery unit (VRU) compressor training with PETER BROTHERHOOD supplier.
* AMDEA chemical product training with BSAF supplier.
* Turbo-compressor training with NUEVO PIGNON supplier.
