I worked on a new hospital in Basra, Iraq for the British army. I moved an existing hospital from Shiber to Basra leading a small group of local laborers to ensure that the project was finished in a timely manner.

I worked on a one million pound contract in Afghanistan supervising local laborers in the installation of new catering kitchens and toilet facilities for British army.

Duties included general maintenance to domestic and non domestic properties. I was in charge of a work force of ten plumbers and seven heating engineers.

I worked on a part time basis throughout the summer season for Janet’s Café Limited who catered for the site and set up crews at large pop festival sites. Main duties were to install, plumb, electrify and gas up all equipment for each kitchen. Working mainly on my own initiative I installed a safe working kitchen for site safety officers to inspect before use. I also gave continuous support to the kitchen throughout the event with regular maintenance checks on equipment

I worked alongside the Social Work Department to provide a service for the elderly and disabled community which entailed upgrades to properties such as bathing adaptations, stair maneuverability and any required maintenance or modifications. I also supervised the outside contractors and managed OT stores, stock and ordering control.

I worked on an oil rig platform. Main duties were removing all old piping and fitting with new. Working as part of a team, I worked to high safety regulations to ensure there was a safe working environment. I always worked to a high standard and met tight schedules to produce final results.
