Project Management

• Provided project management / technical competence in relation to project handled, involving technical studies, conceptual and detailed design.

Project Planning and Cost control

• Developed policies, systems and procedures covering planning, scheduling, progress measurement, monitoring, cost estimating & control, project trending and reporting.
• Prepared the planning formats and scope of work with respect to project control in the Tender documents and participates in technical evaluation of bids.
• Ensured that suitable contractual provisions are made in all contracts to provide appropriate planning and scheduling data, information and documentation.
• Developed project schedules (such as, projects master schedules, logic and interfacing of various activities, progress reports, “S” curves, bar charts, detailed work plans and baseline schedules etc), reviewing contractor schedules, WBS development, invoice coding and data base management, progress and schedule evaluation and analysis, trend analysis, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Maintained the Budget, Commitment, Forecast and Expended costs including Preparation of cost trends for approval by the PMT to track the differences between the budget and forecast costs
• Prepared weekly and monthly executive periodic progress reports on all projects of the Company to Management.
• Analyzed Consultants/ Contractors performance, schedule trends. Identified potential problems areas and recommends and follow up corrective actions and recovery plans to avoid / minimize impact and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Reviewed project decisions from a planning perspective, and provide feedback and Respond to planning inquiries from the project team.
• Provided leadership to a team of Project Controls Specialists involved in major oil and gas projects, utilizing Primavera and other project controls tools
• Developed and implements document control system for project documents.
• Conversant with list of deliverables required for a project, pertaining to various discipline.
• Familiar with all the requirements of a project starting from topographical survey, and geotechnical survey
• Familiar with Conversion of FEED engineering documents into Construction documents
• Assisted selection of equipment, reviewing of technical submittals for compliance to Clients / standard specifications,
• Working knowledge of reviewing Electrical drawings including SLD, cable schedules, LV / MV switchgears. Earthing and Lightening protection and MCC
• Conversant with Instrumentation including field instrumentation, instrumentation cables, FOC, Control systems including PLC’s and DCS, and ESD system

• Developed statistical database of various historical project costs in order to provide a realistic capital expenditure and annual operating cost forecast for the defined project scope is my strength.
