| 1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory] |
Dear Sir or Ma’am:
I’m looking for a job in the construction supervisory field or Pipe Welding with a quality construction firm. I was recently in the U.S. Air Force after seven years of experience in the construction field, and I would love to join a quality construction team as a Superintendent. I'm currently working at Northrop Grumman as a welder, but is definitely looking for something more interesting. I have been doing construction work all of my life. I’m fully aware of the safety concerns which go along in a construction industry and it come second nature to me since my time in the military. This seems a perfect opening to combine my military career with a possibility for an exciting future with a quality construction firm. As you will notice on my resume, I have extensive experience and skills that are relevant to this position. My particular expertise is being an effective manager with the ability to be aware of odd safety issues the average person wouldn’t catch. Throughout my military career I have had experience with different types of commercial projects. I strongly feel my talents could be valuable to you as a Construction Superintendent. I would appreciate an opportunity to meet with this firm to discuss how my experience will best meet its needs.
I believe I would be a great candidate for this position. Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
