Responsible for all project engineering jobs related to Mechanical equipment & Piping installations in projects and ensuring that relevant reports and documentation are prepared to assist project team in progress. Measurement of the quantity installed and monthly invoicing.
Reports to the Contracts Manager / Deputy Project Director Review and familiarize with bid plans and technical specifications in order to know the scope of work. Prepare material estimates based on clients given bid drawings and technical specifications and determine the required installation man-hour for estimated materials using company's engineering parameters and international norms and standard.
Prepare Material cost request Prepare the construction schedule based on the estimated total
Responsible for quantities required to be installed and fields verify and confirm the quantities installed against the quantities required. Reports deviations to engineering department. Prepares periodic quantities report on various areas and forwards to project planning / engineering for progress measurement / invoicing purposes. Prepares Bill of Quantities from drawings. Liaison with client’s quantity surveyors and obtain client’s authorization / witnessing on quantities measured. Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the immediate supervisor. Adheres to Company policies, procedures, Government laws, and Rules & Regulations and work requirements.
(1) Inspection of all fabricated parts, welded pipes, steel plates, pressure vessels etc.
(2) Receive bulk materials.
(3) Inspection of project material equipments and related mechanical activities.
