Geologist and oceanographer with more than 30 years of experience in environmental and technical studies among which 20 years in aquatic environment. He was involved as a project director in many impact assessment studies related to industrial projects in aquatic environment. He is specialised in sediment and soil contamination studies, aquatic studies and impact assessment studies. He conducted many projects related to management of dredged sediments, environmental aspects of dredging activities, hydrodynamics, coastal geomorphology, sedimentary dynamics and coastal management. He has been in charge of environmental assessment studies for hydroelectric and maritime projects. He has been involved in numerous projects of data management and geographic information systems (GIS). Mr Pelletier combine together a broad spirit of synthesis and practical experience of problems and environmental and technical solutions for the aquatic environment. Endowed with leadership in aquatic projects, he has established several contacts in industrial, private, gouvernmental and non-governemental circles. He has managed numerous projects in Canada, Africa and Latin America and has given technical presentations in Morocco and Tunisia.
