Responsible for general admin procedures.
Management of sedimentology equipment.

Marine Geologist:
Adviser and Researcher on international surveys and research studies, including oil seismic surveying and bottom sampling (piston coring, grabbing and telemetric bottom systems) for oceanic sediment dynamics and mass transfer processes.
Researcher on shelf and submarine canyon projects.
Researcher of EUROSTRATAFORM and HERMES project
Participation in multiple ship cruises as Chief Scientist or Research Member on oceanographic and oil industry ships.
Technical Adviser and Task-Force Member: naval conversion of oceanographic Portuguese Navy Research Ships; chemical and sedimentology laboratory project and construction; definition and acquisition of specialised oceanographic systems for research, namely coring devices and telemetric bottom sampling systems (e.g.: TV-grab).
