I feel that my qualifications and experience in the motor trade as a technician/foreman, could easily be adapted to suit your companies needs. For the past 5 and half years my work has mainly consisted of working on diesel engines.
Being a hard working, conscientious person, looking for a new challenge, working off shore is the target I am currently striving to achieve. Having an excellent track record with previous employers if you were to employ me you would discover this and that I am willing to work towards any targets to improve my abilities, to become a more efficient and knowledgeable employee.
I have now completed my Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) at the nautical college in Fleetwood on the 28th 29th and 30th August 07 at my own expense, I have also completed a first aid course on 15th July 07 in conjunction with a voluntary organisation I am involved with, this included exposure and hypothermia treatment.
I have taken my medical.
I have had one offshore trip to date.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
20 years in the car trade as a mechanic. I have worked on a variety of engines. . I carry out all aspects of servicing and repair work, following manufacturer’s specifications and diagnostic procedures. I have also been responsible for 2 members of staff and all workshop related activities. Dealing with customers face to face and discussing any issues that they may have. monitor workshop sundries stocks and re-order where required, and carry out routine maintenance on workshop equipment, and ensure measuring devices are calibrated when required.
