Dear Sir/Madam

I am an experienced expeditor & my aim is to explore more in the field of expediting in the oil & gas field intenationally & in challenging projects. I would be obliged if you could give me a chance to give me an oppportunity to show my talent/expertise in the expediting field.

I have an experience of 16 years as a lead expeditor for electrical & instrumentation. I was involved in a number of projects both internationally & local ones. Also been accredited with a number of certificates from the client`s side for my epertise in the projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Currently leading a group of expeditors for Petronas Kumang & Tangga Barat Projects,
specializing in expediting electrical & instrument packages.

2. Responsibilities & monitoring begins from the PR stage and also help buyer in the techno
commercial meetings with vendor & design.

3. Other responsibilities are as follows:


1. Plan and organize expediting activities upon award of order.

2. Emphasize staff to organize kick off meeting with vendor immediately after award of order & to reconfirm the following :-
a. All relevant specification documents are in place with both vendor and manufacturer to commence production.
b. Deadline as per agreed date for submission of drawing, vendor data, quality plan by vendor and manufacturer.
c. Establish line of contact with manufacturer or vendor principal for easy communication.

3. Ensure timely submission of vendor data / drawing / quality plan by vendor and timely approval of these documents by the respective departments concerned prior to the commencement of production.

4. Analyze and identify area of concern and take necessary precaution measure to avoid delay in delivery of material.

5. Organize production schedule review meeting with vendor and manufacturer for recovery action if necessary.

6. Update and review regularly the latest production progress and delivery status of material in the expediting report and weekly submission of expediting report and status analysis to all relevant parties.

7. Appoint 3rd party expediting agency to verify the production status and monitor the progress at the manufacturer`s site for long lead delivery items.

8. Where practical to visit vendor premises to monitor production status, visit factory acceptance test etc to take corrective action.

9. Review and analyze 3rd party expediting report and recommend more frequency of expediting visits to manufacturer site if status becomes more critical.

10. To Emphasise staff to prepare and submit performance appraisal on vendor delivery performance and 3rd. Party expediting agency performance.

11. Compile and conduct analysis on expediting cost and performance data on vendor schedule commitment and quality of material delivered.

12. To assist in the resolution of Material Deficiency (MDR)

13. To provide job training for new staff in the expediting field.
