Being a Farmer most my younger days shows I’m not afraid of hard work and long hours I enjoy a challenge and utilises key personal features such as drive and enthusiasm, which allows me to work well under pressure. I am a very quick learner who is willing to expand my experience through any training, which may be required. I am a motivated and committed team player I have excellent communication skills. Iv done night shift for Several months and worked extremely long shifts with no problems. Also working Abroad gives me another outlook on how things are done in other country and working long hours in the heat is not a problem. Working and living in Spain working for “BEERS” a building Company, doing general labourer duties along with fitting kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, patios and either starting by ripping old suites out and fitting new ones to tiling floors and some electrical work.
Early starts and late shifts were a big part of the job and helped teach me a wider range of jobs within this trade. Working on the pipe or container boats that would arrive at any time no matter what time of day I’d be in within the hour, or working in the yard strapping in items on flat’s such as farm equipment or vehicles.
Working in a 2500 pig unit Uses a computer operated feeding system on a daily basis, Ordering feed and Vet products Operated farm machinery long hours with early starts and late finishes.
Helping work on and off site as a Hydraulic Technician reading scamatics, fixing all sorts of motors, pumps and such Equipment on boats and back at workshop. Also working very long hours and coping easily under pressure or meeting Deadlines.
Cutting, Assembling and Testing hydraulic hoses in the workshop from job cards and drawings provided by supervisor.
Excellent knowledge of hose, fittings and test pressures and Daily use of Overhead Crane.
