I have a 100-ton Master License with a Towing and Sailing endorsement. My attached resume reflects over 5 years in marketing, marine transportation and facility management from residential to the development of a new city! If you feel that there may be a fit, I am available any time.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
I hold a USCG 100-ton Master near costal steam, motor or auxiliary sail, also authorized to engage in commercial towing.
I have approximately 35 years small boat experience from cruising, racing, charters & deliveries, plus Co-captain experience on a 100‘ tourist sightseeing vessel. I hold a Master’s degree in Education from Springfield Collage Massachusetts, 1976.
EXPERIENCE:
2005 - 2006. Back-up Captain; 300 passenger 100’ Showboat Cortez. In addition power and sailboat deliveries for REDI Marine Services.
2002 - 2004. Volunteer part time Co-Captain 95 Ton, 300-passenger sightseeing vessel, “Showboat”, Cortez, Florida.
1998 - Present. Part time deliveries and boat maintenance with REDI Marine Services.
1995 - 1998. Part time deliveries for Sea Gypsy Charters and Deliveries.
1983 - 1995. Manatee Sailing Association . At this time, I participated in two Trans Atlantic races, sailed to Antigua and various Caribbean Islands, sailed to Cuba three times, many offshore coastal races and obtained my Captains License.
1978 - 1980. Sailboat instructor, Yanbu Saudi Arabia, NESMA Recreational Services. Taught small boating safety and skills on the Red Sea.
1975 - 1978. Sailboat racing the Great Lakes, various boats.
1970 - 1975. Recreational Cruising the virgin Islands while teaching school in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Morgan 34‘ sailboat).
