I am now living in Sweden so would prefer to work somewhere in Europe or Scandinavia but am willing and able to move anywhere for my work. I am looking for a position on a Seismic or exploration vessel preferably or even on a rig tender and will be looking to advance to offcer position as soon as possible.

Feb 2006-October 2006:
Working as a deckhand on a 54m super yacht, M/Y Talisman-C. Which has been based in the Mediterranean for the summer. Duties include general cleaning, polishing, tender driving, watch duties, painting, windlass operation, operating crane, in charge of fishing equipment, safety boat for jet ski’s, splicing ropes (Three strand and braid on braid), training new crew and general maintenance around the boat. I am currently in training for my OOW motor yacht.
Have been working as a carpenters mate in all areas of London. Mostly doing wooden flooring, though also making some ramps and staircases. Use of all power tools required as well as some sanding and polishing.
Working as a Deckhand on a 62foot Motor Vessel. This position included some fill in skippering of the boat and her crew in 2004/05. Vessel, KLM.com
Duties included, Preparing the deck for work each day; systematic checks of the engine each morning; operation, maintenance and repair of the engine and other mechanical workings on the boat; operating winch; driving vessel and watch keeping; Driving tender in all conditions.
Onshore duties included, preparing, repairing and splicing ropes; building and maintenance of camps, (carpentry, plastering, electrical, painting); welding (MIG, ARC, bronze and copper); working with all power tools; Maintaining generators and pumps.
2002-2005: 2-3 months of the year working as a carpenters mate doing mostly roofing trusses. With the same carpenter I have been working with in London.
