CV/Resume Details

1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

When I began my career for Enterprise Rent-A-Car almost 3 years ago, I was told a story of where my career would take me. Looking back now 3 years later, I’d have never dreamed of it coming truer. I work here today for the same reasons I started working here then; making a difference. The aspect that most excites me about Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the fact that you are set up to run your own business. I have had the fortune of not only molding my career but quite a few others as well. I believe that I am ready to move to the next level based on my commitment to the four areas of balance.
With the respect to Employee Development, I believe that are very few people who have my level of respect. I believe that our mission statement reads that customer service and employee development are both equally important and the key points to the foundations of our success. Therefore, if I would stay until 9pm at night to take care of a customer, I am just as committed to give that same level of courtesy and respect to an employee. I have always been the first to volunteer to help New Hires get acclimated to their first official day of work at 5551 and to show them “the ropes” that is our business both at the front end and the back end. Whether it’s to get ready for an interview, promoted, or even improve their selves as a salesman, the first call people make is to me. I love to help our people reach the same level success that I have because I am grateful to the people who took their time to help me.
Customer Service is our way of life, and I couldn’t be happier. I enjoy explaining the importance of pleasing a customer to an employee who is a month or two in. I have enjoyed great success with ESQi since my inception with the company, being able to take every store I have worked improve from their previous score to a score above 80. The most important thing you can do is train your people to set expectations and goals. Training employees to go that extra mile and continue to raise the bar on providing the “WOW’ factor to the customer is how I have enjoyed such great success in the area.
Fleet growth is an area that I have learned to dominate during my career. Like a martial artist, I seem to have gotten better the further I interact with others. Currently at 555E, I have experienced a 25% on rent growth within the first 45 days while I have been here. I firmly believe in answering the phones and exuding the “YES” mentality.
Operating Profit is the reason we do everything else that we do. OP is another area that I have had continued success in throughout my career. As an MT/MA in Pensacola at 555A, we experienced a 20% increase in OP from PYTD. While at 555E, we were #1 in C&I from all other home branches and #2 behind 555A. In less than a month’s time at 555E, I have helped turn around our package sales and by sharing my success strategies and increase our IPC by going for the up sell. The key is growing our fleet, saying “YES”, watching costs and expenses, and having fun.
With Commercial Truck (553Z), I was opened to a concentrated form of our Core Values. Within my 1 year time in Montgomery, Alabama, Customer Service was not a way of life, it was the backbone of our business. I also learned more about being an LCAM by being able to setup and close my own accounts with little to no guidance. I also took charge of maintenance and repairs for 3Z. Combining my dynamic drive to grow and maintain the fleet, and, to increase profitability, I was able to take all 4 Areas of Balance and put them to use. I look forward for Truck to move beyond Alabama in the near future.
I am very excited to have the opportunities that I do in my life and career. My proven track record of success is a testament to the people who have trained me to be here, and the people that I have trained to take me and them to the next level. I very much look forward to the opportunity of sharing my vision with you about the future of our area.
