Please consider this e-mail as an application for any suitable offshore vacancy based on my qualifications and experience. With several years experience in the oil/gas sector on construction projects and shut downs, both offshore and throughout Australia, I have a diverse range of skills. Having strong competencies as a rigger, crane operator and scaffolder, I also have a very strong mechanical aptitude. Due to my previous offshore experience and enjoyment in that environment my goal is obtain permanent employment offshore, however, I am more than willing to accept short term projects offshore due to my certainty that any employer will hold me in high regard for continued work. My ability to work under pressure with long hours and continue to uphold my integrity with regards to safety and performance make me an invaluable asset to any employer. Being a team player and able to work for long periods in an offshore environment make me your perfect candidate.

*Duties – Rigging of pipe work, valves, heat exchangers and other equipment for removal and installation and dogging of crane, working at height. Additional responsibilities include hi-torque man ways, exchanger end caps and other large flanges, alignment of flanges and blanking pipe work, hydro test of vessels and pipe work, spading and de-spading flanges, complete box up of vessels, interpretation of technical drawings.

*Duties – Safely operate overhead gantry cranes (70T, 20T, 2T) with loads up to 69T, precision placement on lifts with millimeter tolerances on turbine casing and turbine shaft, rigging heavy machinery and turbine casings and turbine shaft and bearings for precision lifts, rigging pipe work for installation, safely operate EWP and scissor lift, working at height

*Project/Location – Front Puffin FPSO, Puffin Oil Field 130 miles offshore (Truscott, WA)
*Position - Rigger/Scaffolder
*Duties – Rigging pipes and valves for removal and installation, rigging to rebuild Rolls Royce diesel generator, erection and dismantling of scaffolds (tube and coupler), operation of gantry crane, fitting of pipe spools, pumps and valves, welding (stick).

TRANSFIELD; September, 2007 – October, 2007:
*Project/Location – Caltex Lubricating Oil Refinery Shutdown, Kurnell
*Position – Rigger/Dogman
*Duties – Dogbox, dogging 130T, 80T, 55T, 50T, 30T, 20T slew cranes, safely operate 50T rough terrain KATO crane, 12T Franna and 20T Franna (joystick operation), rigging of pipes and heat exchanger bundles for removal and installation, rigging to install and remove valves and heat exchanger end caps and removal of vessels to collection points for cranage.

WORKPAC/UNIVERSAL ENGINEERING/SEA PRODUCTION; September 6-10, 2007:
*Project/Location – Front Puffin FPSO 25miles offshore (Truscott, WA)
*Position – Scaffolder
*Duties – Scaffold erection and dismantling (tube and coupler)

MONADELPHOUS; July, 2007 – September 2007:
*Project/Location – Darwin LNG Option 10 Project
*Position – Crane Operator
*Duties – Safely operate 18T Franna and 3.7T Genie Telehandler, dogging crane, boom lift operation.

*Duties - All electrical works – telephone, lighting, power, data, etc. Construction of decking, pergolas, lattice works, balustrades, painting of house interiors and exteriors.

BILFINGER BERGER; June, 2006 – September, 2006:
*Project/Location - Darwin Bio-Diesel Project 2006
*Employment Position - Rigger.
*Duties – Rigging, dogging 25T Franna – up to 30 lifts per day, 25T Franna operation, assembly and erection of structural steel and pipe work, scissor lift operation, boom lift operation, interpretation of technical drawings, use of dumpy to locate RL’s, etc., working at heights, pipe finishing, pipe fitting, fitting valves, fitting pumps, hydro test of lines, bobcat operation, grouting, cementing.

*Project/Location - Anchorage, Alaska, USA – Remodel, management and sale of 12 apartments.
*Position - Project Coordinator, Property Manager, Handyman
*Duties - Complete remodel of apartments involving; Replacing walls and gyprock and setting gyprock, removal and replacement of windows, cutting and fitting cornus and architraves, hanging doors, removal and replacement of all bathroom fixtures (toilet, vanities, shower, bathtub, vinyl flooring, mirrors, lighting, fans, faucet), complete removal and replacement of kitchen fixtures (cabinets, lighting, sink, flooring, bench tops, faucet), paint preparation and repainting of entire apartment using spray gun, removal and replacement of baseboard heating, carpet installation, timber floor installation, basic plumbing, replace GPO’s and RCD GPO’s, framing, running coax and electrical wiring. *Duties - All aspects of electrical T/A including use of a variety of power tools and equipment. Working at heights, cable pulling, cable tying, bending metal conduit using hydraulic bending machine and attaching to fixtures, organizing and running long lengths of cable to various locations without supervision, crimping and splicing various sized earth cable using hydraulic crimper, mounting and drilling main switch boards, finishing pipe.
