| 2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory] |
As a planning engineer (from 14/11/07 until 20/03/07):
1) Responsible for the follow up of the Electrical and instrumentation activities as per schedule (using Primavera)
2) Responsible for preparing catch up schedules for late activities to achieve the target dates
3) Responsible for prioritizing activities across ELAB's different departments
As an E&I (Electric & instrumentation) engineer:
Engineering phase (from 20/03/07 until 30/09/07)
1) Reviewing most of the issued for construction drawings (cable laying routes, cable trays layout, instruments location layout, hook up, typical installation details)
2) Reviewing instrumentation diagram (P&ID), Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
Construction phase (from 01/10/07 until NOW)
1) Inspection of the site instrument installation according to data sheets and the international codes and standards as (ANSE, IEEE…etc) and ensuring that proper protection standards are applied (IP and explosion hazard class).
2) Dealed with high and Low voltage cables laying and terminations, responsible for power up of the transformers 11kv,6.9 and the power up of the Switch gears.
3) Calibrating all kind of instruments used in the project (Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Switches…etc) using HART communicator, Druck and different calibration tools and equipments.
4) Checking impulse line connections, air tubing connections and performing leak test.
5) Performing complete loop check (DCS and ESD) for all types of instruments, fire detectors, siren and strobes and wiring tests (megger &continuity).
6) Troubleshooting DCS (YOKOGAWA system) and ESD (HIMA system) and dealing with different type of maintenance related to control room and system database during construction.
7) Installed and tested LAN in buildings, Public address and General alarm (PA/GA) EPABX for the project
8) Installing Electric heat tracing as per drawings according to standards and datasheets.
9) Solving different type of problems faced during the construction period (Drawing mismatch, interference with other activities…etc)
10) Perfect dealing with invoices and break down for activities.
11) Communicate with equipment vendors and technical consultants to resolve complex issues concerning new technology, upgrade of equipment, revision to standards and purchase specifications, test procedures and new projects designs
Responsible for preparing instruments and system spare parts (Dealing with local market, cost reduction, quantity reduction etc…)
Responsible for pre-commissioning commissioning, start up and final inspection of the control system, the measuring instruments, fire alarm and fire fighting systems and communication systems
Control construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules Approve and submit all associated project reports Approve subcontractor's contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements Manage project close out documents Follow up interim and final payments and taking over certificates with the engineer and consultant .
