CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Dear Sir/Madam,
At present I run my own electrical company. Covering both electrical and security installations. Installing and testing including PAT.
I am also ex forces, where I was an Electronics/Instrument Technician, involved in the repair, fault finding and installation of various pieces of equipment, including both encrypted and non encrypted communications equipment (including the Ptarmigan system). I can work as a team player or individually; working under pressure in hostile environments was common practice.
I have a current BOSIET (RGIT) offshore license and medical certificate.
I am equally happy to work onshore as well as offshore I am willing to not only look at electrical trade jobs but also any roustabout work on offer.
I worked for a period when between jobs for Halliburton in Nigeria assisting in an electrical refit on a drilling barge. I have just completed an electrician position on the P6A platform owned by Wintershall in the Dutch sector, during a partial refit.
I have no problems being away from home for long periods of time, and would actually prefer longer shifts away overseas.
With running my own company I have no problem being left unsupervised. Safety is obviously paramount in all instances and in line with current HSE and COMPEX guides.
I am at present in the process of registering myself and my business with NICEIC but would cease this process if an opportunity arose.

2000 – 2004 – Opened my own Cellular/mobile phone premises, both selling mobile telephones and accessories but offering a fully test and repair service of said telephones down to component level.
2008 – Short term contract – KLM, Instrument Technician within Schiphol airport. Undertaking PCB fault finding and repairs to component level. NOTE: Security clearance at Schiphol Oost until June 2009. (SOFI number available)
