Keppel Fels, is one of the largest offshore and marine groups in the world. It is the world leading designer and builder of jackups, having built the most number of jackups on order in the last decade and has a suite of proprietary semisubmersible designs
Job Profile:
· In-charge for the marine systems commissioning.
· Handling of Rotating equipments such as diesel engines,pumps, compressors and other equipments.
· Prepare/review technical specifications/data sheets for the above-mentioned equipments
· Handle quotation requests Review vendor documentation for compliance with specifications/data sheets.
· Need to liaise with the vendors and get the works done in time.
· Coordinate with the production department and installation of machineries in place according to the design.
· After ensuring that the systems are installed properly, need to call the owner representative and class surveyor and explain the commissioning procedure and commission the equipment and system.
· Presently under the project of new built semisubmersible rig. Project is expected to complete by the month of August 2008.
· Preparation of required documents and submit accordingly.
· Preparation of Safety risk assessment and explain to the team before doing the commissioning of the machinery.

· Responsible for the technical matters, certification of the vessels, etc.,Budgeting and drydock plan preparation.
· Liaising with the MMD and Class Surveyors for doing the survey and getting the certification.
· Arranging workshops and get the works done. Solely responsible for the work completion in time and make sure that the vessel is in operating condition all time.
