I am currently seeking employment with a stable company that can provide good benefits and pay.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
Employed: Oct 2006 through Sept 2008
Position: Head Tapper, Crane operator
Place: Alcoa Inc
Market Road 1786
Rockdale, TX 76567
Job duties performed: As a head tapper, I was in charge of planning out the work to be performed, and completion of work in a timely manner. I took orders from my supervisor and planned the work out that best fitted my crew for that day. I then acquired an over head crane classification. As a crane operator I had to be in conscious awareness of all employees at all times because I was carrying various loads that weighed only a few pounds all the way to several thousand pounds.
Reason for leaving: Layed off
Employed: Sept 2005 through Sept 2006
Position: Finisher, Sand molder
Place: Gemini, Inc
102 Wagner way
Taylor, TX 76574
Job duties performed: As a finisher, I worked with various hand tools, drill presses, band saws, tig welders, and belt strokers. I took the raw product and according to the customers order, cleaned the product and finished the product how they wanted it. I then became a sand molder on the 2nd shift. As a sand molder I took wooden forms of letters and molded sand around them. When the sand was hard I glued the two halves together and poured molten aluminum, brass, or bronze into the cavity. When the metal cooled I broke the sand away from the metal and sent it to the finishers. I was the only sand molder on the second shift and was required to complete as much work as I could without direction or supervision. I was in charge of all sand molding operations from start to beginning, and when completed, shutting down the machinery properly. The sand molding department had a small conveyor system under ground and would occasionally break or get stopped up. I would assist in fixing the problem and trying to prevent it from happening again.
Reason for leaving: Found a job with better pay and closer to home.
