In total I have 17 years experience in oil and gas production offshore operation, 10 years with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd ( as a Production Team Leader) and 5 years with TOTAL E & P Borneo (as a Senior Relief Operator).The extensive knowledge I gained from my experiences,enlightened me many ways. Responsibility : As per my last job position held with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd Operation Team Leader , myself was responsible for :-

1. Monitored & supervised all daily operation task carried out by subordinate, maintenance crews , wellhead maintenance and wireline operation.

2. Monitored the operation overall safety of Production Platform Complex.

3. Conducted morning pre-job meeting & daily job planing meeting.

4. Produced crude oil production as per target & gas venting bellow allowable limit.

5. Commanding , directs & supervised starting-up production complex , gas lift platform & Living Quarters utilities equipment after any planned shutdown or unscheduled shutdown.

6. Coordinated platform weekly safety equipment check & testing main fire alarm panel of Living Quarters & production Complex emergency system.

7. Coordinated 3 monthly platform ESD functioning test.

8. Supervised & coordinated separator / vessel inspection & cleaning by contractor.

9. Assisted Senior Operation Supervisor prepared and review of Standard Operating Procedure for any major corrective maintenance or repair job on platform.

10. Supervised revalidation job of process Safety Relief Valve by contractor

11. Monitored all preventive maintenance ( PM ) job carried out by maintenance crew as per requirement & to ensure all job planing target achieve.

12. Coordinated & supervised 3 monthly PM of wellhead safety valves integrity test.

13. Handled & coordinated all activities involved starting up or shutting down of major rotating equipments , e.g. gas lift compressor , crude oil transfer pump , genset or desalinator. And also leads the team to carry out trouble –shooting if any major process upset occurs.

14. During any work barge or drilling barge activities at Tukau A production complex ( e.g. drilling, work-over , top-site maintenance or platform upgrading ) , myself will directly involved as a Representative Onsite ( ROS ) & responsible for coordinating crude oil production operation during under Simultaneous Production Construction & Maintenance Operation ( SIPCOM ) or Simultaneous Production Drilling Operation ( SIPROD ).

15. Coordinates wellheads hand-over to Drilling Operation or platform hand-over to work barge for top-side or major platform maintenance operation by third party.

16. Assisted & provided wells surface information to wellhead & production planner onshore.

# in the year 1998 , I was appointed as a team member of Tukau / Siwa Oil & Gas Optimization Project Team.
The project was successfully carried out and as a result Tukau / Siwa field managed to produce another extra of two thousands barrel / day of crude oil & LP gas venting bellow allowable limits without carry out any well work-over or drilling.

17. Appointed as Authorized Gas Tester & Competence Authorized Person (CAP II ) to check web & wire rope sling.

18. Designated as Damaged Control Team commander. As a commander , myself also responsible for conducting a fire fighting briefing & training to any new crew onboard Tukau Living Quarters.

19. Assisted Senior Operation Supervisor to prepare plan jobs for any scheduled platform shutdown.


# in the year 1999 , I was appointed as Acting Senior Operation Supervisor due to my good working performance. As an acting Senior Operation Supervisor for Tukau / Siwa operation myself totally responsible for :-

1. Total area operation & safety.
2. Manpower , wellhead & reservoir management.
3. Production target and operation cost management.

3. TOTAL Borneo , Brunei Operation
Brunei Darul Salam

Position : Production Operator.
( 28th August 2002 – 1st June 2003 )

Onshore gas processing plant ( OPP ) Lumut ,Brunei Darul Salam.


Responsibility :

1. Monitored and operated gas processing train & liquid processing train.

2. Performed routine pigging operation.

3. Performed export gas, feed gas, hydrocarbon liquid & chemical amine sampling.

4. Appointed as Authorized Gas Tester.

Brunei Operation.

Responsibility :

Basically I was involved as operation technician for both operation onshore plant & offshore installation. At onshore plant my responsibility as per explained above & at offshore production installation as follow :-

1. Operating high pressure gas production well & high pressure production operating platform facilities.

2. Carried out well test as per program & collect sample for lab analysis.

3. Performed 3 monthly wellhead safety valves integrity test.

4. Carried out control valves, shutdown valves & safety switches functioning test.

5. Performed monthly ESD , GPSD & USD simulation test.

6. Performed 3 monthly ESD , GPSD , USD & Blow down valves functioning test.

7. Carried out planned pumps test run.
