1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
Firstly, I would like to give you some background on my professional profile:
I hold a Master's Degree and a PhD in Paleogeography and both my doctorate and the Master's theses were connected with the marine activity. Ever since I started my research on Msc and Phd I have always been close to the coastal related matters.
Having strong geographical background (especially with coastal geography and quaternary geology) I was also part of a teaching team conducting field exercices with students on basics of geodesy and teledetection.
I consider my experience in field research including drilling cores of lake bottom sediments my great asset and believe the abovementioned skills and the qualifications described in detail in my CV would prove valuable in work on projects conducted in gas & oil industry.
I am aware that I would have to hold an offshore survival certificate and I am prepared to obtain one. I would, however, prefer to have your professional opinion on my suitability for the roles on offer prior to incurring the substantial costs associated with undertaking such course. I would greatly appreciate if you could let me know your thoughts.
