• Supervising and improving planed maintenance program and predictive maintenance potential;

Main activities and responsibilities: • Verifying and clarifying the client’s repairing request lists.
• Supervision and coordination of works and timetable compliance in all stages.
• Supervision of works compliance with Labour Protection and Fire-Fighting regulations within workshops and on board of ships.
• Procurement of documentation related to systems and installations on board of ships under repair.
• Materials and technical solutions supply for the subordinated foremen in close agreement with all contiguous departments (Marketing, Technical department, Utilities).
• Intermediate between the Yard Ship Repair Manager and all performing workshops subordinated to my department.
• Provide technical assistance when required.
• Ensure a close co-operation with the client representative and navigating crew when applicable.
• Draw up of Notification Reports to the Quality Control Department and Delivery Notes towards the client.
• Experience accumulated in: Main & Auxiliary engines, turbo-chargers, pumps, compressors, electric generators, steam generators, cranes, hydraulic systems, propulsion shaft lines, stern tube seals, propeller system, rudders, windlass system, piping systems, heavy equipments manoeuvrings, etc; ( coordinated jobs: equipments overhauling, measurements, alignments, equipments replacement or equipment parts replacement and/or reconditioning, old piping systems renewals, machinery repairs, etc)
Achievements • In charge to help the new building part of Constanta Shipyard when they requested manpower in order to finish in time NO. 3 Histria Chemical Tanker (37000DWT) project vessel. My responsibilities were: coordination (people, works and papers), supervision and quality control commissioning for the mounting of more than 60 equipments (pumps, compressors, fuel system filters, separators, all heaters, etc) and inert gas system.

• Preparing of material estimations for forward projects
